I would take Burrow over Mahomes. I think Mahomes is going to be in that same boat once he loses some of that mobility.

These QBs are both so hot. I'd go Howell then Mahomes, then Burrow, in my top 3 NFL QBs. I'd accept arguments to flip flop 2 and 3.

I have nothing against Howell but I do have realistic expectations for a 5th round pick.
We can’t keep trying to settle for a mid tier QB.
I would prefer to try to get a franchise QB will we actually get one.

After you are picked what round you were picked becomes meaningless. It’s not like they hand you a first round pick coat that elevates your play. Only reason a team gets spun up about a high puck is because they spent more draft capital on them so they are willing to give that player more opportunity.

I agree we need a franchise QB but being drafted 5th round that alone will not determine if Sam is a franchise or bust QB
