Even when the facts are found, Fake News CNN tries there damnedest to twist them to write their own narrative. Read the last paragraph, completely unacceptable. But what's funnier is this fact they completely leave out, from ABC News: "Martinez Torres was arraigned Monday and denied bail pending a July 19 court appearance. A judge appointed him a public defender, whose office declined comment. Immigration authorities put a detainer on him, saying he's a citizen of El Salvador and there's probable cause to believe he lacks permission to be in the U.S." ironic isn't it? |

They are accusing the administration of fat shaming. Think about that. Fat shaming. What an oppressive regime.
Do you really consider this an article? It's garbage, it's literally one person's opinion about shit that went down. Idc who publishes it, if I see it on MSN I ignore it. Why does one person's opinion hold more weight than any of yours? It doesn't, even if that person gets their opinion published by a major outlet. Chico I know you have thicker skin than this. You need to separate actual, factual, news, from nonsense bullshit like this posted on any media website. Yes, I read MSN every day. But you know what? I ignore all the opinion pieces, because I don't give a shit about other random people's opinions. Especially the ones in the media because they are literally getting paid based off whatever nonsense opinion they can get the most clicks on. You ever wonder why idiots like Colin Cowherd get snatched up as soon as their longtime former network gives them the boot? It's because idiotic opinions sell. Idiot fans are going to tune in because they like what they have to say. Haters are also gonna tune in because they want to discuss what an idiot he is. The only difference between me and them is the fact that I consider my time to be too valuable to waste it listening to morons. This drivel is all over the web, and it's because news outlets used to have journalistic standards and integrity and when that stopped selling they had to resort to desperate measures to keep the money flowing in. That's why the newspaper is a dying medium and there are paywalls on sites like WaPo, because you can't have people reading the content for free. |

Legally entering the country with brown skin and illegally entering the country are not the same thing despite what your deity has lead you to believe.
The coverage is ironic and funny...the act is horrific and a nightmare for the family. When this crime initially happened cnn and MSNBC starting sending out the bat sign as a hate crime against Muslim. They did this period..that's how the coverage was framed. Falsely framed. Snowflakes took to social media to condemn everyone from trump to Christianity. The rhetorical "terrorism" term thrown around, which means less and less these days. And then the facts came out...and it killed the story. The facts killed the coverage and the narrative. It's fucking pathetic. Weren't we just here last week saying step back and stop the political hate speech? Media should stop inciting these false narratives. |

The problem is the race to be first takes precedence over reporting only facts. How do we solve this problem? I'd say vote with our clicks but that strategy seems to be abandoned in favor of the "I need to have an opinion and be up-to-date on all current events" strategy. |

:iamwithst
Ok, so, what is exactly is the right move in this situation? Let's skip the fact that the right move is not publishing the article in the first place, you've just been caught and you have two options. Option A is fire the journalists, admit the wrongdoing, and let the public decide whether you can regain their trust. Option B = [yt]c3sOuEv0E2I[/yt] Or in laments terms, you grovel at the feet of those you wronged, and come out and say "yes we're fake news (whatever the f that means)" thus tanking the value of your multinational news corporation that employs thousands of people. |

More Fake News by the NY Times...this time they are being sued:

While Im no Palin fan...far from it...this actually didn't happen. This was the left attempt to say "hey look we can make up attempts by the GOP to incite political violence" which didn't happen. But this is clearly fake news that the Times corrected the next day, but that's too late these days because it circulates in Alt-left bubble board, media sites which it becomes fact. Fake news is being committed regularly by left leaning supposed "unbiased" journalists. Like it or not, this is a war on Trump and the GOP as a whole by news orgs. |

Just take a look at what is going on with press briefings. It's a shitshow. You minions blindly accept the bullshit this Administration feeds you but I don't. I don't care what administration it is, I hope the Media questions every thing they do. This goes for Saint Obama and Bush as well. If Trump wants some respect, he should let the reporters in the press briefings do their jobs. Deal with the questions and stop fucking tweeting for a few months. The fact is he loves any press including negative press and fuels the fire himself. |

Trump was never even given a chance to govern, the smear was on immediately because cnn was unhappy with the results. Never before has a news org looked the other way with one administration and 180 to attack another. It's obvious to many. Running everything from fat shaming within the whitehouse, to wild conspiracy dossiers, collusion theories...none of it is fact based. Zero. It's fake news. I guess we all saw the cnn producer video saying it is a witch hunt and there is most likely no evidence of collusion. He said its ratings motivated. Basically keep pushing fake news and conspiracy theories for money. Pretty terrible to mislead the public like this. |

Fake news isn't a left or right problem folks.
No, you're wrong! The right side is the only side trying to tell the unbiased truth! Chico, the only news I read are actual current events that have physically happened, like that legal gun owner being shot dead in the passenger seat of a car after telling the officer he has a gun on him, exactly like the legal gun owner protocol for being pulled over states. I'm just curious as to why the NRA hasn't stood up on his behalf, normally they'd be all over any police trying to trample on a gun owners' rights. Anyways, I apologize for trying to detract from the situation at hand. Feel free to keep attacking CNN, because I don't read them anyways. I don't read any opinion pieces, because media opinions are worth less than the keyboards they're typed on. Left/right, it doesn't matter. The goal is to get people to click, and discuss, which brings money in. As long as you keep clicking, linking, and discussing, they could care less how much shit you talk about them. I also know you're smart enough to believe that it doesn't matter which side of the aisle you sit on, both sides are doing this. Just say it. What exactly is your end game in this argument? Or is there no end game, you just want to engage in this pointless discussion that will never solve anything. |
