That was a crazy Steelers-Raiders game. And the Raiders win lol. Of course, I'm just happy I started Roethlisberger in fantasy, if I win he will be the main reason I did.

Fantastic finish to the Oakland/Pittsburgh game. Al Davis is somewhere laughing saying......."Don't draft a kicker in the first round they say, it'll never pay off they say".

Apparently I was mistaken about the hat Kevin Ogletree slipped on in the end zone, I thought a fan threw his hat on the field, but it was apparently a ref who thought Ogletree went out of bounds.

but in the end he got them back in the game and 20 fantasy points. I of course benched him

My heart aches for Torrey Smith losing his brother. To play the same day you got the call is gutsy to say the least. *tips hat*

Agreed. It's unimaginable the plethora of feelings that must be flowing through him. I'll be rooting for Smith tonight.

Man, Flacco is playing like crap.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3

Yeah, Flacco without protection = real Flacco.

Don't want to get into the argument, but I'm not a huge fan regardless of stats or accolades.

That kills the jets chances imo, they are already an avg at best team but now.. ouch

Streaker on the field at the Ravens/Pats game. This wouldn't have happened on Ed Hochuli's watch. LOL.

skinsfaninok 09-23-2012 09:53 PM

I'm still laughing at the ref making ogletree fall today hahahahaha!!

Good to hear this:

Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl
According to the Raiders: WR Darrius Heyward-Bey is in stable condition and is staying in the hospital overnight for observation.

Definitely good to hear. I can only hope that these replacement refs don't let things get out of hand to the point where players suffer life or career threatening injuries.

This is going to expose Landry now that he will actually have to play safety I tells ya!

Ravens are missing T-Sizzle big time.
Ravens are missing T-Sizzle big time.
Ravens are like Steelers, both teams great defenses are no more.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3

The Ravens are using the same defensive scheme from the Redskins game last week with their secondary.

Brady is throwing to wide open receivers.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3

By the way, I feel like every game I've watched has had at least one team reach 30 pts or more. I wonder if the refs are affecting the way defenses play.

skinsfaninok 09-23-2012 11:08 PM
Brady is throwing to wide open receivers.
Well the ravens secondary is way way better than ours, Brady's just a beast

skinsfaninok 09-23-2012 11:10 PM

How about the pats? Longest streak ever to stay above. 500. That's damn impressive

Ruhskins 09-23-2012 11:14 PM

Did the Ravens just give the ball to a rookie on 4th and 1 instead of Ray Rice????

Bad call yes it's over. How about them 2-1 first place Bengals?

mooby 09-23-2012 11:36 PM

Torrey Smith with the huge game tonight. Feels like we're witnessing Favre's (ugh still hate typing that name lol) Monday night performance all those years ago.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3

The refs just won the game for the Pats.

mooby 09-23-2012 11:41 PM

Wow the refs with the horrible call there. He barely made contact and I doubt it was anything that ruined his ability to make a catch. And it kills the pick he got on the play too. And now they call unsportsmanlike conduct on John Harbaugh too. Horrible, absolutely horrible.

S/N love the impressive sound of the entire crowd shouting "bullshit" as one. Now that's getting creative. And even Al Michaels acknowledged it. Excellent.

I love the chant the crowd at M&T is shouting right now! lol
