Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Ok so I have Greg Jennings but he's questionable and may not play against the Bears. I have Randall Cobb, Kendall Wright whos going against the Chargers who have no CBs right now, I'm definitely starting Brandon Marshall, and I have Doug Martin going against a fiesty Giants defense.
So I have a flex open and 1 WR spot. Who do I start?
Britt coming back and Wright moves to the #3, Cobb probably starts if Jennings doesnt go, is that right? Id watch the situation and probably go with Cobb. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Palmer is worth a lot more than Ingram, who is really in a RRBC situation on a pass-happy team. He shares with Sproles and Ivory, not an every-down back.
Ask him for a better RB. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the other question, I picked up and am starting Cobb at flex in two leagues. The chance for good offensive production plus a return TD is tough to keep on the bench. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
For you Fantasy guys, I think the Redskins D/ST is a sneaky play this week at the Rams. Is it Brandon Banks time?
Ok WR question..... I don't know his injury situation but P Garcon or A.J. Green for Week 2. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
So i drafted Morris with my 16th round pick but dropped him for Rashard Mendenhall before the start of the season (figured it was a better lottery ticket than a shanahan running back). I lost my week 1 match with the leagues lowest score, so i'm #1 on the waiver wire. Wondering who you guys think i should pick up with my FIRST waiver claim, given my roster below: Randall Cobb, Alfred Morris, or Patriots D/ST.
Starters QB: Aaron Rodgers RB: Jamaal Charles RB: Steven Jackson RB: BenJarvus Green-Ellis WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: Eric Decker TE: Antonio Gates DST: Bills (they KILLED me) K: Garett Hartley Bench RB: Peyton Hillis RB: Ben Tate RB: Michael Bush RB: Rashard Mendenhall WR: Kendall Wright WR: Justin Blackmon WR: Darrius Heyward-Bey |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Should i start Vick v. Baltimore or Palmer v. Miami this week? I'm having a hard time bringing myself to benching Vick even though it feels like the right thing to do
Also, Helu v. St. Louis or Kendall Hunter v. Detroit? |

Ten. My draft strategy was to load up on running backs with upside since only idiots draft backup quarterbacks and tight ends and wide receivers after the 4th round are all roughly comparable. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
You loaded up on handcuffs and injured running backs.

I dunno, I think having a good backup QB is kind of important along with good trade bait. What do you do in your bye week? Just roll with a scrub off the scrap heap? |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Peyton or Romo?
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Why even ask? Peyton.
Romo isn't consistent. Don't let Week 1 cloud your vision. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Philip Rivers, SD*QB
Matt Forte, Chi*RB C.J. Spiller, Buf*RB Larry Fitzgerald, Ari*WR Hakeem Nicks, NYG*WR Fred Davis, Wsh*TE Jamaal Charles, KC*RB Raiders D/ST*D/ST Billy Cundiff, Wsh*K ___________________ LeSean McCoy, Phi*RB Tony Romo, Dal*QB Cedric Benson, GB*RB DeAngelo Williams, Car*RB Lance Moore, NO*WR Isaac Redman, Pit*RB Nate Washington, Ten*WR here's how i'm leaning, would you make any changes? |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
You can't bench McCoy unless he's hurt.
I'd swap out Charles for McCoy. KC has a 3 or 4-way RRBC. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
In a PPR who should i start if Garson is questionable going into Sunday games? Call Shinnanigans and start Garson with my flex being either DHB or Brown? Or bench Garson ans start Aldrick over the afformentioned guys?

He spelled Garçon wrong! Banish him! Kidding. What Brown are we talking about? If it's Antonio Brown or Donald Brown I'd feel pretty good about replacing Pierre with them, not if it's Ronnie Brown. I don't like Heyward-Bey much; don't like any of the Raiders receivers for that matter & I don't see Aldrick repeating what he did in week 1 in week 2. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
I had Brandon Marshall last night. What a bum!

Gabbert is playing well, but the Texans D is easily one of the best defenses after the Ravens. Are the Texans playing at Jacksonville or in Houston? |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
At Jacksonville.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Last night, i started Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, and James Jones. I hate the Greenbay Packers and Matthew Berry.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
^ I feel some of your pain. I started Cobb and Brandon Marshall, got a mere 6 points from them (could have had more had Marshall of caught that damn TD!). Only good new is that my opponent had Finely who got 0 last night..ahhh
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
My opponent played Marshall an his quarterback and other wide reciever are mike Vick and mike Wallace. If the ravens can make Vick turn Thr ball over like the browns did and the jets eliminate Wallace, I like the way the rest of my starters match up against his... Right now I'm debating dropping Hartley for cundiff.... I just don't want to find myself "rooting" for field goals lol.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Ryan Mathews may play this week. I actually picked him up off the waiver wire from a guy in my NFL.com league this week who dropped him. Who are these guys I'm playing with?

wow. i wouldnt start him until he's put up a couple weeks of solid performance, but i'd say at some point, he's going to be starting and giving you 20 points per week. |

A couple of weeks? The Chargers backfield is a wreck. If he can play this week, he is in my lineup. He is in shape, strong, ready and motivated to play. Yes, one hit could take him out, but one hit took him out when he was healthy. I'll take that chance. His upside is as good as anyone in the league and he won't split carries. Even Arian Foster owners cant say that. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Ugh, Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham just dropped TDs from Brees costing me fantasy points.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
5-0 the first week, 1-4 the second week. Brandon Marshal, Dez Bryant, Jermichael Finely and Antonio Gates(who i wasnt able to move out of the line up in time) all killed my teams this weekend. Damn this fantasy world!!!
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
I've got Roddy White and Julio Jones for ATL tonight and my opponent has Peyton. I've got a 5 point lead but I'm still concerned lol. I hope they go off on Denver's secondary.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
cj spiller and hakeem nicks picked up the slack. i'm up 90-57 and he's got manning tonight, i'm confident.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
I have Peyton Manning. I need 11.1 points from him. We are 20 passing yards = 1 point and 4pts per passing TD. I need 222 yards out of him not counting TDs or INTs. That should be possible right?
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Ive got Aaron Rodgers and am considering trading him for griffin and Antonio brown or Wes welker. It's a gamble, but is it worth the risk?
