I highly doubt we'll be counting on him for anything.

Derrius Guice will be out for Redskins vs Eagles this week. Not sure for the rest of the season.
-----------------------------------

This team isnt doing anything next year, I dont want to designate to much money to the RB position. If you arent a contender and dont already have a big contract for RB on the books .... go running back by committee, maybe find yourself a gem that way as well. Dont we already have AP on for next year plus Guice is still on his rookie deal.

I think a RB1 is only added as a cherry on top type piece.
Chris Thompson counts 4 million towards the cap and is coming off the books. AP is at 1.7 million now and 3 million next year with no cost to cut him.

5.7 million per year for a Free Agent RB will get a solid, complimentary piece. Its peanuts for a piece of mind going into next season with a rehabbing Love and Guice.

A lot can change in a year, it happens all the time. I wouldn't say this team will suck just yet

According to Ian Rapoport, it's just a MCL sprain for Guice.. This is a great news and hopefully it will allow Guice to figure out how to strengthen his knees and body this offseason.

I really hope Guice will look into Dr. Sharif Tabbah and his team for physical training, I imagine it would do a wonder for Guice's body. If any of you guys have a direct contact with Guice - tell him to check out Dr. Tabbah!

Only a sprain. I would end his season to be safe. But won't need surgery at least.

We need to find a RB1 next season. I actually like AP, but you can't keep relying on a RB anywhere near his age and usage.

P.S. - AP is just freaking special. He is a stud. We never fully enjoy players until they retire, but we are watching excellence.

Yeah u won't see many more athletes like A.D, His nickname of ALL DAY from his days at OU were for a reason, he's one of the freakiest RB's to ever play the game.

His preparation and work ethic is exactly what the young guys need to see.

2 pre-season games. 5 regular season games. 3 multiple games costing injuries.

Sad but can't count on him. Anything he'll bring to the team from now on is a nice unexpected bonus.

It sucks because he really could be an electric RB, similar to a Zeke for us but faster.. He just can't stay on the field, we saw this with Reed, freak TE like a Kelce or Kittle and is always hurt

Yeah, he's already a Reed in my mind.

Always great having a talented player and never knowing if he'll be able to play next week, makes game planning fun.
