Dunbar played well last year before the nerve injury. Dunbar is getting better as time goes by although, I'm not saying that he will become a shutdown CB but he definitely is a player Redskins should keep, either as #1 or #2 CB.
Yeah, I like to see him play the rest of the year healthy. If so do an extension. Also would like us to get our center Chase Roullier under contract long term.

Of course, schreff needs to get done as well

I think in fairness to the players they had to pull Rosen. But the call on the 2 point play? Let's just say it was not a low percentage play. Apparently the guy that was suppose to get the ball didn't practice the play all week.

Im not sold on Roullier, he seems like a C+ player to me. In a perfect world, we would upgrade C so Chase would be the next man up for swing G/C. Bergstrom I dont think should be on an NFL team next year.

Of course, we have bigger fires on our O line to worry about (LT, do we resign Scherff, can we really rely on Flowers long term?)

Scherff - Im not sold on giving him a 5 yr/70M/40M guaranteed deal. Is he really a top 5 guard? hes elite lite but I dont like the math of paying a G 15M per when you can find good Gs for 6-10M.

Guard isnt a position where I need elite top 5 talent. If I am going to commit 8% of my entire salary cap to a single player ..it better be QB, LT, DL and they need to be top 5.

Yes to Roullier and Schreff too. Redskins really need to do everything they can do to keep young players.

Would you make Schreff the highest paid guard in the league? Cause that's what he wants.

I would. If that's what it takes to make him want to play here, then so be it. We should've extended him last year or 2 seasons ago. We didn't, that's on us.

Now it is NOT about knowing if he's the best Guard in the league or not, it's a market, the Skins didn't manage this situation well, they have to chose wether they want to pay the market price or not.
Plus he'll only be the highest paid Guard in the league until another one signs a bigger contract...

Yep, no brainer.

I would not make anybody the highest paid anything until i had the head coach and the pro and college head scout positions filled. I would have them make RG a priority evaluation of potential replacement cost in cap or draft costs and then go to scherrf with an honest opening position.

I don’t think you have to go j mart contact but almost to get a deal done...and we should.

My offseason moves so far:

My extend list:

1. Schreff
2. Chase Roullier
3. Quinton Dunbar

My Cut list:

1. Norman
2. Reed
3. Kerrigan

My shit list:

1 Trent Williams- not a cut, but trade.
2. Morgan Moses - can’t cut without a viable replacement.
3. Alex Smith- money pit

For those who choose to celebrate this small victory,we almost blew this one too..Fitzmiracle was about to perform one on us until his dumb coach chose to take a chance and blew it..had they kicked the extra point we would have surely lost the game.

I’ll take the win any which way.
