Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Wow, Browns will look great on paper. And the Giants got a crap ton lol

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
I actually don’t think the Giants got a good return at all for a top 3 receiver who hasn’t even hit his prime yet. Peppers is a little above average, imo. Mid first and third ain’t enough.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote] Well, the AB trade didn't help the Giants. Also, man what happened to the Steelers? They had, arguably, the best WR and RB in the league and they let them both walk for nothing but a 3rd and 5th round. Crazy. |
Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Dee Ford for a 2nd round pick in 2020? That can't be right can it?

I admit that I'm almost completely ignorant of the situation that existed between Beckham and the Giants, yet losing a Superstar like him would just about make me physically ill if I were a Giants fan. I'm not trying to rub it in but he can't be replaced. That's why the return for Beckham doesn't seem like enough to me. |

The Giants lead the NFC East in scoring and Odell missed 4 games .The Offense started to click when there wasn't any pressure to always get it to Odell . I don't question his heart ,he has a good work ethic but he has missed alot of time the last two years and his off the field BS was getting tiring. We (the Giants) now have three picks in the top 37 and 4 in the top 100 (12 picks in all)and a #1 pick at Safety for 1.2 million |
Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
I see why the Browns got rid of their safety.....they are going after Earl Thomas. They are going all in....

apparently the rumors were so strong Spotrac salary web site put Bell on the Ravens roster... it now appears to be the Jets |
Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Giants got fleeced, meanwhile the Browns are looking hot on paper

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
The Press and Giants fans on Twitter are ripping Dave Gettleman for the OBJ trade.

As they should, they should have gotten a much better haul in picks |
Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Jabril Peppers played really well for the Browns...the fact they get a young defensive talent like that in the deal swings it for me. 1st and 3rd isn't too bad.
IMO, win for both teams. When I see 2 of the top 3 receivers traded...these guys never won a superbowl and Brown got to one his first year and loss but was a nobody, he didn't play. These individuals while talent aren't difference makers like they appear to be....Kyle Shanny said something last year to the effect of you need WR to excel in specific roles and play within a unit for the passing game to go next level. Brown, ODB jr...while freaks of nature, weren't doing that. |
