What about the hit to head on Bradford on the 2 pt. Conversion that wasn't called? Shades of Thanksgiving. |

If you watch that play over again, a case could be made that there was a false start on the Vikes LT on that same play. No calls, missed calls.....they are there every week in every game. There's like 20 cameras pointed at every angle and only 6 officials on the field. Things are going to get missed. Sometimes they are in your teams favor, and sometimes they are not. |
Re: Around the NFL week 13
In general the rule is pure shit. Guys slap each other on the heads all the time in simple football celebration. Does anyone ever get a concussion from that? Nope. Why? Cause they have a helmet on! But if it's done on a QB in a game when a defender is trying to block a pass it's 15 yards. It's simple common sense that the NFL can't seem to grasp. But the rule is the rule and if you touch the QB anywhere above the neck it's 15. By rule a flag should have been called, by simple common sense the rule should be thrown out.

There are a number of unofficial NFL rules that could have applied in that situation. The "No calls Against Dallas Inside the 20 Yard Line Rule", the "No Calls Against Dallas That Could Lead to Points by The Opposing Team Rule", The "No Calls that could Lead to a Dallas Loss Rule", or the "No Calls Against Dallas on a Thursday Rule" all could have applied in that circumstance. Here is the actual NFL rule that applied: "Within the two-minute warning period (of either half), instant replay reviews can only take place if the replay assistant, who sits in the press box and monitors the network broadcast of the game, determines that a play needs review. Coaches may not use a coach's challenge." The network broadcast clearly showed a hit to the head of Sam Bradford. The replay assistant could have called for a review, but he didn't. That should earn the replay assistant a free trip to Vegas with Stephen Jones on the Dallas Cowboys Party Bus, like the one his boss took before the season started. |

A penalty call, or even a lack of penalty call, is not reviewable. Even if Thornton knocked the helmet off of Bradfords pointed head. If the official on the field does not throw a flag, it is a non-call. The review official cannot call penalties. |

I love how this guy reappears after posting once last year when he gloated after Dallas beat us. Rich

Re: Around the NFL week 13
Even with the favoritism the Cowboys seem to get, 11 in a row with a rookie QB and Rb is quite impressive.

Yup. Right now is a win-win for us, either the Cowboys lose, or the Cowboys win and it helps our positioning for the playoffs. |

Oh, so it's the official on the field who gets the free trip to Vegas on the Dallas Cowboys Party Bus, then. |

Bradford had let the ball go. Im happy the boys won. Helps us. |

Shell casings found inside Gassers car, which suggests he was shooting from a defensive position and that McKnight was the one who got out. Most likely gonna plead self defense on that one. It's a damn shame, for all we know Gasser made an aggressive move or cut off McKnight and McKnight got out to confront him and Gasser opened fire in self defense. Or maybe McKnight was in a bad mood or something and got out of his car, either way it cost him his life. Just a shitty situation all around. And then to top it off you have that witness who was lying that said Gasser was standing over McKnight and put a round into his head. I won't be surprised if this stirs more shit up in the community. |

Im happy the boys won. Helps us.
I know, I know, but that cannot have been easy to write. (It wasn't easy to read.) It would be so sweet for us to knock them out of the playoffs after two close regular season games. Or if they had a 1st round exit. A friend of mine is a Cowboys fan (in fairness, she's a Texan, although I still find it inexcusable), and I keep reminding her that there was a time, recently, where we had a rookie QB and rookie RB that we ought would carry us forward for years to come. And where are RGIII and Alfmo now? |
Oddly, it wasnt. Maybe bc they are so far ahead that there is no way for me to even mentally craft a false narrative that we may catch them. I also find myself feeling kinda bad for Romo ... I watched a life story segment on Dak and I found that endearing .... thank goodness Elliott does that spoon feed thing and he is a 100% certified bama. |

Well he's been pretty diplomatic this time around and a few other Warpath members have even hoped he would come back and post. (God, I cant believe I stuck up for a Dallas fan) |
