Re: The Best and Worst Of Our Future
Apparently the leader of the militia got the money to fund the operation from a 500 grand life insurance payout for the death of his pregnant wife last year. Damn what a crazy bastard. I wonder if her death had anything to do with this as well.

I really hope Scott Wells has a post-NFL plan for the sake of his new kids. |

That's crazy. |

Their situation is significantly less amusing but happens all too often in that part of the world. |
Re: The Best and Worst Of Our Future
My 17 yr old nephew yesterday recued a brother and sister around the ages of 7 who got caught in a rip current. He was surfing at Va Beach when he noticed the two kids struggeling in the water pulling each other under. He paddled over to them and had them get up on his surfboard and allowed the rip current to take them out. After it had stopped pulling them out he started back in as a lifeguard came to help. They got the two kids back to shore and he left before the parents had a chance to thank him. Scarry thing is the parents had no clue anything was wrong and this went on for around 5 minutes

parents are just getting better and better as the years go by or my awareness of bad parenting is getting higher and higher as the years go by - either way, not looking good for the children of tomorrow |

Best of, sadly not part of our future:

They stepped into action, however, when Stevens became separated from the small security detail normally assigned to protect him when he traveled from the more fortified embassy in Tripoli to Benghazi, the officials said.[/I] |

Re: The Best and Worst Of Our Future
I read that, but why is a Sherriff getting involved to begin with, and why would he talk to a 5yr old without the child's parents present. Seems like a very odd story.
