Whoever said draft a safety in the third rd has a pretty good idea. We def need another prototypical safety, even if Barnes converts to one.
...so RT in the 2nd rd and safety in the 3rd. Guard in the 4th...
im ok with the signing, low risk high reward. but i think we need to still address this position whether it be picking up reggie nelson at FS or drafting one in the 3rd. IMO i think Barnes is below average at best as a player, he always seems to be out of position and when he is he is always flailing around and missing tackles. |

He does'nt have an achillies injury that will keep him from playing the rest of his career. Also, he probably came real cheap. |

Im not Meriweather fan and its definitely not an upgrade but i would suspect Merriweather is a hell of a lot cheaper than Landry is gonna be. So at a cost standpoint Meriweather may give us more options. Maybe we can still keep LL? |
I would not waste my time as I don't have the time you have to writing long wind post about how awful the Redskins are.
The US is experiencing some of the nicest weather in March that it has ever seen; go out and enjoy. Knock off some of that pale you have grown over the years sitting behind a computer screen crying about every Redskin's move. You are wasting your twenties on football blogging.
I would suggest you re-direct your obvious frustration at the Redskins instead of me. |

Nope. He's not. |

Can you prove he's not a upgrade? |

The only question is: are the Redskins looking?
Landry who?
He missed 16 games in the last three years. All Meriweather has to do is show up in pads and its an instant upgrade.
Exactly!! Can almost say the same for Atogwe. I mean if anything safety play should be better this year than last but we still need to add another. |
Can you prove he's not a upgrade?
He's been benched for rookies with limited upside in two different cities. It would be like Landry getting benched for Anderson Russell.

Dude your complaining is growing old and folks are getting tired of hearing you bitch. I am not at all frustrated with the Skins they are a hobby of mine to follow. you know a break from my actual real life problems. They are obvious more then that to you, which is quit sad. |

He also doesn't have to worry about diseases from monkey bites.
Dude your complaining is growing old and folks are getting tired of hearing you bitch. I don't think I've ever seen him happy about the team. We have a tiny core of inhouse pessimists and he's one of them. I am not sure how anyone who never actually roots for a team can consider themselves a fan of the team. They write long-winded posts trying to prove themselves right instead of joining in on the online tailgating party that brings us all here together. |

He's also made 2 pro-bowls (as shitty as that is) and how many has LL made? The only reason LL hasn't been benched because his replacements are shittier. |
Re: Redskins Sign S Brandon Meriweather
Hopefully Meriweather will get his head on straight and become the stud that his talent reflects. In the meantime he's just a guy. And that's ok for now.

Re: Redskins Sign S Brandon Meriweather
I like LL but let's face it, the guy just hasn't been able to stay healthy the last 2 years.
