Easy to play the hindsight game. Mike gave us our best draft in about 20 years.
Still no QB. We know you think MS is infallible, but it is hard to not wonder why we couldnt move around to get a 2nd rounder QB. |
Without Adrian Foster, Johnson, and a solid TE/Line, TJ Yates wouldn't be doing a damn thing. Especially if he came here. That offense is loaded with talent.
Just like Kyle Shanahan? |

He still has to play QB and he's doing enoug for them to win. Also he played a couple of games without AJ. |

Rookie gets picked off again.

Well it would have been better for Houston is that had been an incomplete pass. |

Au contraire monsieur! I think he's done several things that I haven't agreed with. I'm just not carrying a pitchfork and torch calling for the man's head and blaming him for not grabbing any and all players that turn out good. The difference is, I without a doubt believe the guy had his hands tied when it came to obtaining a QB. Sure you may make the case for a Hasslebeck, but you can't even prove that he would have been better than Rex. Put up average numbers with a good OL and the games best RB. I've said before, you don't draft a QB unless you love him. Which is exactly why they bypassed on Gabbert, and probably why they would have picked up Locker. I assure you. Dalton would not be having that type of success here with our current talent. You know this, I know this. Not the same situations.
Just like Kyle Shanahan?
Can't argue with that. |
Re: Around the NFL - Wildcard Playoffs
Raise your hand if you thought the rookie QB from last year's draft class to win a playoff game this season was going to be TJ Yates

Not I. Also, Crocker needs to be cut right after the game for that lack of effort on the Foster TD run. Horrible. |

Raise your hand if you even thought that this past years QB's class was even better than the past couple years QB classes! Also I can see Houston going on an Arizona Cardinal type run in the playoffs if they continue playing like this. And Detroit beats the saints tonight. |

Why cant the Redskins find these 7th round guys who can step in and play at a high level right off the bat? Its not like Yates is a RB either, he's playing the most important position on the field and doing just fine. There is QB talent outside the top 5 picks but for some reason the Skins just cant seem to find it. |

Cause we had Rex and Beck |

True but it seems like the Skins and the fans seem to think the only way to get a top QB is to draft a big name future "franchise" QB when in reality there is good QB talent that can be had without having to give up a bunch of future picks to trade up. |

Take that same 7th rounder, and stick him on the Rams squad and watch him do dick. You can't compare some guy who's playing on a stacked squad to something on ours. We don't have a Andre Johnson or a Adrian Foster. Makes a world of difference. |

Good point. But the Skins have so little talent that putting that 1st rounder that they trade up for in the game and he wont be able to do dick either. |
