Re: boxing/ UFC fans?
Got into boxing lately. Been practicing for several years but the apparent complexity of all the federation and the business side kinda of kept me from watching... until this year, I switched and been bingewatching fights...
And man, 2023 has been a good year, and July was as good as it gets: anybody here watched Inoue-Fulton and Crawford-Spence ? |

Yeah they both are out of this world... I guess next big opponent for Crawford could be Ennis, the guy has legit power, but hard to find someone that you realistically see beating Crawford. Same for Inoue, some interesting fights, but nobody that even comes close to being a match. Super-fly, feather and lightweight are the most exciting classes in terms of legit competition IMO. Heavyweight is a shame, talent wasted by the business' greediness and Fury's cowardice... |

It's the best sport in the world, ran by some of the worst people in the world. It seems like the goal of the power players is to make as many people dislike boxing as possible. Huge fan of Ennis. But yeah, can't see Crawford losing to anyone in the next 2-3 years. He made Spence look like a pumpkin. I don't know enough about the guys around Inoue's weight class, but he might stay undefeated for like another 8 years. I despise Fury. He's a fat, obnoxious, lying, asshole. And I thought this before this stupid match against the UFC guy. |

It's a shame this weight class is still considered the face of boxing when the best action is happening in other classes. Inoue should be unifying all super bantam belts by the end of the year against Tapales. I happen to know the Japanese promoter who signed Filipino boxer Casimero to a 3 fights contract. This guy has said he's after Inoue, and he has the knockout power to be a scary opponent. But he's not that young, and Inoue has a nearly perfect defense so I don't see him losing that one either. So unless he goes up to featherweight, yeah, nobody is beating The Monster before he retires, in all likelihood. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
