Dude LAVAR is done, he is old and always injured, he had 1 good year with us and that was basically it.
Agreed....and personally I don't think he ever was that great. Or maybe it was that we just sucked during that time he was with us.

So in summary: Waste of a discussion, but I'll keep it open (until another mod locks it)
Why do moderators here feel they need to lock a dicussion just because they disagree or have a different opinion?

For the record I dont think LA will come back to the Skins nor do I want him to but nothing wrong with discussing it.

It's because this is a topic that's been discussed ad nauseam.

It has nothing to do with whether we agree with it or not.

Not sure why people like to make that assumption.

That's not why I locked it. We keep discussions open all the time that we disagree with. I'm tired of discussing LaVar but that is not why I locked the thread.

I locked it because there was no source or link to what T.O. Killa was saying. That's why I said provide a link and I'll reopen it. Killa PMed me that he saw it on Comcast but had no link (understandable since it was on TV), and so I reopened it.

So don't go make assumptions about what moderators here feel the need to do.
Sounds like more of LaVar's "Look at me, Love me" routine. No thanks. Sorry, I just never got the LaVar Love that seemed to strike some people blind to his self serving routines.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I heart you

Lavar's knee is shot, its pointless. I loved him to.. but it just doesn't fit well. He is always out of position and is kind of a free roaming guy. Can't say i'd be excited about him coming back
I'll believe it when I see it. Lets not forget Lavar got benched, went packing to the Giants, bad mouthed the entire Skins organization and the coaches. I don't think the Skins are that hard up to bring him back.
...and he took his playbook with him.

“People are enthralled with whether I am coming back or not,” Arrington said. “But I’m fine with it. It’s over.”

Re: Lavar In 2008
When did anyone ever say he has no cartilage in one knee? Please elaborate.
When all of this Lavar stuff was going down a few years ago, one of the member's here had an uncle who had seen Lavar's MRI. He was an orthopedic surgeon. His estimation at the time was that Lavar was done. Also, look for articles talking about Lavar's physical when he signed with the Giants.

All of Lavar's problems revolve around his knee cartilage. He had multiple surgeries to repair, remove, and replace the cartilage while he was here. His knee is basically shredded, with little to no hope of it ever getting any better.

LaVar still wants to be a Redskin.. you can see it..

i say let him come back..we need the depth anyway at LB and it might give us some extra energy next season..

No.
It would be a waste of a roster spot.
Please realize Lavar will not play for ANY NFL TEAM EVER AGAIN.
Lavar does not have a knee injury that you recover from. Lavar has a chronic knee condition that with rest will start to feel better but he has no cartilage left in his right knee. If he runs or plays for any significant amount of time it will swell and be very painful. Nobody can play in the NFL for more than a game or two with the condition Lavar has in his knee.
End of story.

I want to be a Redskin too, but so what?

LaVar needs to prove he's healthy enough to even run, and then he needs to apologize to Gibbs and Snyder for bad mouthing them, and then he needs to learn that it's not all about him, and then he needs to just go away

Is it April Fool's Day already? LA coming back is the funniest thing I have heard in awhile. You can see on the CSN post-game show that LA's hand is f-d up from the motorcycle accident. I cant imagine what happened to his legs. LA had a decent career with the Skins but he's done.

Lavar Arrington? Seriously guys. It would make more sense for us to sign Monte Coleman or Kurt Goveia than to re-sign Lavar Arrington. Sorry, but he burned his bridges with the Redskins when he left.
