Translation: I want 21 million a year to play in D.C, I know Daniel Snyder has the money. |
ESPN2 stated: The browns GM Tom Heckert said "RGIII was a special athlete". ESPN went on to say that Cleveland is hoping to move up in the draft.
That doesn't mean that they're willing to give up the two first round picks though. I hope too god Cleveland decides on Flynn. We would really only have to compete with Seattle for RGIII.
was that today? and i think its a bluff |
If u think we are really all for RG3. U may be upset on draft day.. if Manning was option 1 which seems like he may have been then we aren't giving up all that for Griffin. Get ready for tannehill at 6
I agee. Dolphins- PManning Browns- RGIII Skins- Flynn & Tannehill, Cousins, or Weeden. I'm guessing we will now work hard for Flynn in FA, and pick up 2 WR's in FA, maybe an OL. Then we'll make an offer to the Rams which will be declined because the Browns will offer one 1st and their 2nd round pick for RGIII. |
Well what if we get Flynn? It's a possibility
I will punch Shanny in his face. |

The Browns can give up one 1st round pick and their 2nd round pick this year and still have a 1st round pick for support. I think they won't have a problem with that. We lose again. Have a nice day. We'll have Flynn/Tannehill, Cousins, or Weeden. |

All indications are that we are willing to give up our first this year and next year, but we are not willing to give up our first and second this year. |
Whatever team RG3 goes to will have a Cam Newton type of effect. Ryan Tannehill not so much. I live in Charlotte and the excitement for the Panthers has never been this high. RG3 is a better prospect than Cam was and thanks to Andrew Luck coming out is within our reach. We need to make this happen.
I'm starting to beleive this more & more. |

That is true for 90% of SBXVII postings. |

Flynn won't be a Redskin under the current regime

Smoot, so which is true: Has Peyton rejected us, or are we in his top 3 (or is it somewhere in between).

if this is true, advantage us. money is no issue |

I don't know what his top 3 is, if he even has one. That said, I know there are reports out there that he's said no to us and that is not what I've heard at all. We're very much in it, but again (think I mentioned this before) we're not really intending to negotiate. We have a "take it or leave it" offer in mind. Rumor is a decision will be made by Manning on Monday. We'll see. |
