Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Nowadays, given the speed of the college game, it's hard to find blue chip players who haven't been nicked up here and there over the course of their college career. Adrian Peterson had that same knock on him coming out of college, but he turned out pretty good.
I think the draft is just one component of the overall "off-season." If I were to judge the Skins in total moves/non-moves this offseason, I'd give them a solid B. |

Orakp was a no brainer but the next two picks was no brains! Anyone know when the next F*ck up is?

Well we won't know until we know. As has been stated here already, a guy name Chris Horton wasn't exactly the most coveted player in the draft last year and he missed the Pro Bowl by...well, he was damn good. |
Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
49ers ravens then us

Well look at Dallas this season. 11 picks on the 2nd day? Somebody is always looking for more picks in the hope that you take more shots you are bound to hit something worthwhile. Unless we totally go all out for the O line the rest of the way, this draft is a big waste of time for us minus Orakpo. Barnes might pan out and who knows about this LB from NE. Barnes wasn't a bad pickup, but not a real need. Before just for the fact that they didn't get Sanchez and picked up Orakpo, I was going to give them an A thus far, now reality has set in. |

Bear Pascoe to the 49ers? Man thats the second coolest name in the draft. First goes to Ziggy Hood.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion

Completely agree, but hopefully Dallas misses on all 11 |

At this point last year Chris Horton was a nobody. Patience, please. |

Well, I would be more patient if we addressed our #1 need in the O line. |
Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Ok, now I'm ranting. WTF? Another LB? This is just like last year with the wideout.
