Cofield needs more respect, he's been playing well.
Someone else sees it here All-NFC East Team: Week 14 update - NFC East Blog - ESPN
I'd agree with that. The guy that needs to step up on the d-line is Jenkins. We saw a bit of that yesterday for a few plays and it seemed to make everyone else's job much easier once he was getting a decent push. |

He's a good player by all means, but during those long runs by Ray Rice, I thought he was getting manhandled by Birk. |
Call me a cynic, I would only expect Shanahan to publically be optomistic about RGIII playing this week if he were lying. Making the Browns plan to play RGIII when he knows darn well Cousins will start seems like something shanahan would do.
I like it. |
RgIII has a grade 1 LCL sprain what do you guys think about this does he return or sit
It doesnt matter cus KC has icewater in his veins. :) I think personally i would give KC the reps this week n start him with RG-3 ready to go just in case. Im sure rest wouldnt be the worst thing in the world even for what appears to be a somewhat minor injury. If we could win the game, showcase KC, and give RG-3 a rest as we head into the postseason i think that is about as win as it gets. |
I'd be willing to bet Griffin sits Sunday

Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
RG3 will play this next week. Book it.
Now should he is another story. But he will say all the right things and act like it doesn't hurt just to get out there to lead this team. It speaks alot to his passion, but his scrambling needs to be scaled back by at least half. The guy is too valuable to keep getting nailed like that by 360 lb nose tackles putting all of their weight on one of your joints. |

So if he thinks Griff is going to play what is he supposed to say? I get your point but again - what if he really thinks he will play? |
Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
I think that RG3 should suit up and Cousins should start. If Cousins sucks it up, then RG3 should come off the bench. If not, let him rest.

If RGIII can play he needs to play. We're in the playoffs right now. One and done. If he can go...he goes. Anything less would be undeniable hubris. |

I'm glad for Robert that his injury wasn't too severe. I look forward to seeing him in action next week. |

i'm with you on this one . . . i think coefiled is over rated and better suited to play the 3-4 defensive end position . . . how about a real NT, with coefield, bown and carriker rotating on the ends . . |
Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
cofield is not a 3-4 nose, that's why what he's doing there is so impressive.
yeah, it'd be nice to have a real tub in there, but cofield is holding it down. |
