Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
People who pull up to an ATM drive thru and decide to make a deposit. But instead of having the deposit ready, start writing up the deposit slip, envelop and doing all the paperwork there making everyone wait. dbaggery at its finest

and you know they just have to be on the cell phone at the sametime. Being on a cell phone seems to double the time in completing any task, watched my sister recently take 5 mins to take off her shoes while on a cell phone. me and her finance just shook our heads |

SO I'm driving through the ATM to get a little cash and I am behind only one car. I think....cool this will be quick. About 10 minutes later, punching 62 buttons and exchanging paper...stuff with the machine 6 or 8 times, she's done. What the hell can she be doing? Making a pizza.....printing out a revised copy of War and Peace? I get my turn. 3 buttons and 32 seconds later....I'm done...WTF |

If you're going to deposit a check, make sure you have everything ready to go by the time you approach the machine. Don't stand there, continually pressing the need more time button, while you sign the check, smooth it out, inspect it, check the time, etc. especially not when there's multiple people in line. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Cell phones drive me crazy. I'd like to bash most of them with a hammer while the person is talking on it. Take care of two problems with one hit.

I agree especially when they are driving. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
This really doesn't grind my gears but I saw someone who it does really bad.
If you go to planet fitness they have a lunk alarm. Video shows it, basically if you drop weights a alarm goes off. Planet Fitness: Initiate Lunk Alarm - YouTube Well at my PF they have universal machines as well as free weights. There are two universal chest presses. For some reason on both machines if you put it on 80 pounds the 90 pound plate sticks then falls off as you lift. This makes a loud crashing noise and the alarm goes off. I just try not to use 80 pounds and all is good. Well today some dude who is always on those presses made it happen and the alarm went off. He just went ballistic screaming about how they need to fix it. It was too funny. A few people clapped because it is true they need to fix it. |

One thing I've noticed a lot at red lights is (and I'm trying to not be sexist here) women constantly looking through their purse. My wife and I notice at least 2-3 people doing this EVERY morning when we drive into town. What are you looking for? :cheeky-sm |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Eventually there will be more stringent laws regarding Cell use in cars. I am sure they are responsible for a number of vehicle accidents. Frequently am I having to......deal with some moron on the Cell and not paying attention top their driving......

Squeaky shoes.
Do I own squeaky tennis shoes? Yes. Do I wear them to work every day? Yes. Are they finally getting to the point where they abuse my ears everywhere I walk along with everybody else' ears? Yes. Do I plan on replacing them within the next two days? Yes. /Nuff said. |
