Why? I'd bring him in, he'd be good pass rushing depth. |
what's up with hillis? what did he turn down in cleveland? to sign that little one year deal in kc?
He wanted to go somewhere that would allow him a plausible front for his spy career. You think he's in KC right now, when he's actually in Yemen taking out terrorists. |

Because he was getting paid 17 million this year. He isn't really a depth player, he should get big money to start somewhere. |

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Former Vikings CB Cedric Griffin will visit today

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
So Cedric Griffin and Aaron visit today? I choose Ross.

I'd bring in Ross on a 3 year deal, but he's already 30 so I don't want to commit to him long term. I don't remember Cedric Griffin being that good in Minny so I don't want him. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Ross may have won the superbowl, but he was not very good.
Griffin will require less money, I want him. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I'd take Ross, too. It seems that we are looking only at nickle guys, not someone for the starting 2.

Griffin used to be terrific, got injured and played poorly last year. If we sign Ross, we're probably releasing DHall. If we sign Griffin we have depth. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Honestly neither is good. Griffin tore up his knee once (maybe twice?). Ross is Laron at CB. Will get beat, make a hit and talk trash after giving up a first down.
Gun to my head I'll take Ross. |

Aaron Ross Stats - ESPN They both turn 30 this year. I'm pretty sure Hall's future isn't contingent on either of them. |

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
The better player is easily Ross... The problem is age (30) but... If he'll take a 2-3 yr incentive deal, this would be a good move... But I think Ross might/could sign for less: Just to play the Giants twice a year; he was a contributor in both Superbowl wins and might feel "disrespected/hurt/mad" that the Giants let him go... wouldn't be surprised if he signed w/ us today.
