Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
I'm not surprised at all about what Dan did to the Lerner's. Dave Paulke, Mitch Gershman, Dan and even his sister Michelle are all a-hole bullies. The ultimate embarrassment would be to strip him of what is most important to him. It would be like castrating him publicly. Total humiliation.
It is just hard to root for this team when you hear shit like this. I don't ever want Dan to win at anything. We have a horrible owner who hides like a coward who has done so many terrible things over the years. Then he went woke to try and save his ass cause he knew all this was coming down. What a fake SOB - and to top it off we now a defensive coordinator who is a wanna be Proud Boy. This team now is just dead to me. |

If he ever had any credibility (questionable), he has surely lost it all at this point. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Snyder offers to testify:

Some are speculating he knows Congress will decline those dates, but the effort can be displayed. Interested to see if Congress complies with this.

He had to make something to look a tad bit better. The "I'm willing to take time to testify while mourning my mother at the other end of the world" card is not a stupid one to play.
But all this tells me is he's feeling some heat. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
He's playing it smart - offer to testify on the last day/2nd to last day of the session and he knows they won't have time to do anything before they go on break for a month. Then a month later the latest headlines mean we've moved on to the latest and greatest. Now Congress will look like a bitch if they decline.

Based on what I've been seeing in various news stories, subpoenas don't mean much anymore. |

Laws in general don’t mean much anymore … sad

Certainly not from Congress anyway it seems. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
From the Oversight Committee to Dan Snyder’s attorney: “The Committee accepts your offer for Mr. Snyder to testify on the subjects under investigation by the Committee on July 28…will proceed with a subpoena in place to ensure that Mr. Snyder’s testimony will be full & complete”
Per Keim Looks like we got a date |

Per Keim Looks like we got a date[/quote]Still think there's a catch coming here. From what I gather, Snyder offered to testify voluntarily. The committee is requiring the subpoena. Just have a feeling his attorneys and him may not roll with this under this condition. Don't know if his reputation can get any worse but backing out of this may just do it. |
