WTF? Armed robbery for a freaking game.

This part cracks me up:
Elsewhere, demand for MW3 has been predictably high, with one eBay copy of the game allegedly selling for over $1,700. MW3 officially launches tonight at midnight.
$1700? That person really couldn't wait til tonight to grab it for $60??

Yeah I don't get that either. You have to be some kind of pathetic person if you pay 1700 bucks for a videogame a week before it comes out. At that point, it's obvious all rational, logical decision making is gone from your head.

Any thoughts on MW3?

To me it's MW 2.5. No major upgrades, very solid and fun game, better than Black Ops, overall just getting a bit stale to me though.

Mine is still in the wrapper. I am actually thinking about returning it. I am loving GOW 2 right now and I want to play the new Batman and Uncharted 3. If MW 3 is just rehash of MW2 what is the point? If I had more time then yeah I would play MW3 but my gaming time is so limited with having two kids now.

I spent almost 70 hours playing mw2 back at the height of its popularity, so much I'd spend almost all of my non working time on it, and I stopped playing when I got to level 70 on the 5th prestige. If I bought mw3 I'd fall into the same trap, wasting my days playing that when I could be spending my time doing something more useful. So I'm prob not gonna buy it, even though a few of my old mw2 friends want me to so we can join up again. There's better video games out there that I would rather play anyways.

I'm really thinking about selling it. I mean it's good, but it's basically just MW2 with new maps and some minor changes to the kill streak system.

BF3 wins this battle.

It's like the first one mixed with Assassin's Creed 2.

The graphics are amazing, the story line is damn good, and so far the riddles (probably my favorite part of the first game) are pretty tough and fun to figure out.

you sound like a heroine addict! LOL!

Sad think is I know where you are coming from.

IT goes like this for me with any FPS multiplayer. Think of a bell curve.

At the start of the curve it is really low do to having to learn the new system, then slowly the curve rises as I get better, then it shoots up as I am really good, then it goes flat but still high and then finally it slopes down as I get bored with the same old same old. It is is the start of the rise of the bell curve that is so euphoric to me that I become addicted.

Don't get me wrong I still like games, but nowadays I value my time so much more than just wanting to sit back and keep leveling up to earn the same old rewards.

I might be the nerdiest person on here but I right now am stoked as hell for the midnight release tomorrow of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

I have been a fan of this game since the beginning, both my brother and I. And I really feel like we are witnessing a once in a lifetime event happening with a game such as that. I don't think any other moment in my gaming life will be the same as when I crack open Skyrim. And I think anything I do after that moment is definatley down hill gaming wise. Tomorrow is the mountain top, there will never be anything else like it.

The elder scrolls has taken 7 years of my life so far 2003- Present. Unless there is an Elder Scrolls 6, i don't think anything else can ever compare to it.

So I have Skyrim on pre-order and I played Oblivion. And loved it. But why's there so much hype about Skyrim again?
