Plenty of very ordinary and generic names out there across all sports, we're just used to them. Unless there's a name out there that you could guarantee the vast majority of fans would get behind, it's not worth it. I'd rather see the uniforms re-done. Too bad football team couldn't have stuck.

I still like WFT , It was generic as it gets but you never had to debate a nickname... Commanders is what it is at this point.. Warriors was clearly the best option but for whatever reason they chose against it

The uniforms absolutely suck, I can get used to any name regardless how dumb it is, but the uniforms are just a worse version of Central Michigan

Also love the helmet with the gold W. Imagine Harris would have changed them by now if he deemed so, but you never know especially long term.

And he was definitely right on that, but now the team has definite quality leadership, the structural defeciencies are being addressed by Peters, and I have to believe there is a team dedicated to the new stadium. His energy was well spent "re-calibrating" this franchise. Now he needs to get rid of the last tangible stench of Snyder - the name (which will necessitate the uniforms too)
He brought in a top guy associated with the golden state WARRIORS with no backlash. I think we will see a major rebrand to the warriors - reflecting the pentagon/military in the DMV as well as a tip of the hat to the franchise tradition. I would recommend a camoflauge pattern to emphasize the military warrior connection as the special uniform, but that's just me.

Warriors would allow the team to return to its Redskins logo. That would mitigate the backlash by fans and Native Americans (The vast majority of which were upset by the wokes' anti-Native American actions of 2020).

Will be happy to move on from the commanders and the unis, although I like the burgundy matte helmets and facemasks. The rest is meh and the black unis are way too Steelers for me.

And Tress Way is a gem - great guy to give up his number. Has there ever been a better teammate than Way? He’s so refreshing. And hilarious. He doesn’t hold back how much he cares about his teammates - even my wife found the reveal to Reaves about the pro bowl pretty touching. And she thinks my love of this team is a form of self-loathing.

Top rushing attack is because of Lamar and his ability to run or at least bait the defense into thinking he might. Above average pass catching? No way. Maybe Flowers can be great but he just got here. Id be willing to say they have had average wr’s at best throughout his career.

Doing that 2 years in a row in the SEC is bigtime. Massive difference in SEC defenses and the Big XII softer defenses RGIII played in. Labeling JD as an injury risk at this point is not valid.
