But releasing Davis is dumb. Release Colt already (yes i know I am a broken record on that)

I couldn’t agree more. Releasing Davis is a mistake. I hope no other team pounces.

I don’t get upset about releasing an end of roster WR. I get more upset of why Reed is a TE on this roster when his cap number is kray and he never plays. I get pissed when we have the opportunity to get another TE during free agency and we do nothing

Reed is officially out for Sunday.

Of course he is, and of course we’ll be missing another key starter. We’ve going through three seasons now. Should be used to it

I feel bad for Reed. He’s had an incredible offseason, and everything said he was 100%, cutting and moving like they’ve never seen. He was popped on a dirty hit. I blame the scumbag that hit him.

Trent WIlliams has nothing to do with injuries.

Ruben Foster is bad luck and due to our curse, just like Alex Smith and Colt McCoy.

Besides Reed who keeps getting brought back after injury how are all of these players and the total decimation we’ve seen the last two years on bad management?

This team can’t catch a break.

McCoy should be cut, Reed is a known risk, so despite his quality level should not be treated like a number 1 because he isnt lasting a season. If you keep him fine but he should be kept as special value player, and have a TE group you expect to make it through the season with. They have done literally nothing to mitigate risk for players who have injury histories.

I'm gonna go out on a limb for this one..Eagles come out cocky and rusty,Skins play great defense and offense scores just enough to pull off the upset of the day, with a goaline stand at the end..Redskins 17-Eagles 14..HOW BOUT DAT!!!
I think this is a 6-10 or 7-9 team. What I’m excited about is that, after years of chasing over-paid, under-performing, FA who are here mostly to score a big paycheck, the team is finally trying to win through the draft. The good news is that we have young, fast and motivated rookies and young players with lots of potential. The bad news is that we’re a year or two from them adjusting to the NFL and reaching peak level.

So don’t think so much about win / loss but more about how our young players a moving toward stardom. We finally may have a real, long-term franchise QB in over 20 years or more.

We also ol need a new HC. Gruden isn’t cutting it and I’d often out-coached in games. Most HC get 4-5 seasons to prove they can get their team into the playoff picture. Gruden is on season 7. He’s predictable as hell in his play calling (hence bringing in O’Connell this year) and has the worst second half adjustment in the NFL. In other words if we aren’t winning at the half we will probably lose.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I could not agree with you more. Jay Gruden is horrible. We are not going anywhere with this guy no matter how talented our roster is.

Why would Gruden do this? Wouldn’t this give Philly a huge advantage, and allow them to game plan for one back? Why not keep them guessing? Considering the inexperience of our WRs, Keenum in a new system, Reed out, and our Probowl LT out, wouldn’t one think we need as much help from our RBs as possible? Who’s idea was it to sit the greatest RB of this decade? This is why Gruden needs to go

The decision to sit AP is wrong on so many levels that I hardly know where to start. Actually, I can't be bothered right now. Yet another poor decision by Jay Gruden!

It's typical Redskins mismanagement, what a joke.

It'll be a miracle to win this game today

We have Tanner Vallejo on this team. Some LB I’ve never heard of, and cut Cam Sims. And now we bench AP. Bad decisions and I imagine the vets in the room will be pretty chafed. Oh, and you think Trent will be happy that this has been done to his best friend in the team?

Seriously, I know it’s hard to have 4 active RB and that AP doesn’t play teams, but Guice is coming back from being out a full year. There are a lot of reasons this is a bad idea.

If the team comes out flat and gets steamrolled, it’s entirely on Gruden and I cannot see things getting on the right track for him.
