I know where I'd be going if I were Kirk Cousins. Jacksonville and Cousins is a no brainer. Bortles is straight up terrible.

Taylor is a backup at best.

Well Tyrod is playing against the best passing defense in the league.

I know of two QBs who won't be on the Bills next season. Peterman and Taylor.

So the Bills have now entered the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes.

Don't even need to watch the AFC playoffs next week. Wake me up when its Steelers vs. Pats for AFC title. Shouldn't even watch that either as Steelers always choke against Pats. All the drama is in the NFC.

The AFC is garbage, the Bills shouldn't have even got in but BAL choked it up to the bungles lol. The Titans will get smoked next week and Jax will lose as well. Pitt overlooked them the first time and it was obvious, that wont happen in the playoffs. Jags D will keep it closer but they just cant score.

NFC isn't as fun anymore w/o Wentz, ATL is going back to the SB

Ditto. Lots of people complain about the officiating, but Triplette has been amongst the league's worst for some time now.

I believe the NFL must have known he was going to retire because he hadn't worked a playoff game since 2013, because he was not rated high enough to get awarded a playoff game. Weird...

He's an ex colonel in the military, I appreciate his service but you're right his crew was fn awful. Im going to be a little sad cause every time I see his crew or Jerome Bogars crew I knew someone was fixing to take it right down sixth street made for some good chuckles. Hell Triplette damn near blinded a guy with a flag. And Bogar can't even say flag it sounds like fag so he started saying penalty instead. lol

But 21% for the prime matchup...? That’s big. Plus folks were home this weekend...half the country was in a deep freeze watching tv.

Valid point. Pretty sure a lot of people spent more time inside this past weekend than they normally would because of colder than normal temperatures.

Yeah it doesn’t explain the full drop off, maybe half with the rest being the continuing downward trend. Let’s see what the drop is this weekend with the big boys stepping into the ring, NE, Pitt, Philly

That is bad, wow. NFL is in trouble, NOBODY thought baseball would end up like it did, IMO it's the fact that the games have gotten too long with every play being reviewed, the "concussion protocol" is getting out of hand to, every time a player is hit hard they have to go to the tent, the game is getting to where defenders cant even hit hard anymore. Might as well play college style and just score 55 a game.

I think I have never careless about a wild card weekend then this past one. Even though I am not a fan of the Ravens I was hoping they got in just for something to watch/care about.

CSN Mid-Atlantic's JP Finlay reports Jamison Crowder is open to a contract extension with the Redskins.

Crowder has one year left on his rookie deal at around the league minimum, so of course he'd be open to a new deal. He reportedly "likes it" playing in D.C. for coach Jay Gruden.

I would look to extend him, but as long as he doesn't field punts or KOs.

I think Signing Crowder is a MUST - but i also believe he needs help to really be effective as a receiver. He needs Doctson to step up and we need an effective Number 2 to take away the coverage . I believe Grant could be this guy, but i also would like to see us continue to draft wrs.
Im not sure how any deals or extensions can be done without the Cousins contract situation being resolved unless you go in with the mindset that you have to pay 34 mil and you work off of that. That doesnt leave a ton of room to dump a new deal for grant, crowder, ZB and perhaps long.

MTK 01-10-2018 04:56 PM

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I like Crowder not sure I’d say signing him is a must though. He was a bit disappointing this year.
