Screw them.....huge choke job, they were the #1 seed in the whole NFC and still couldn't win a playoff game....and were the first home team to lose in the playoffs lol
Yeah, bottom line the cowboys blew it big time. They were basically injury free for the year and top seed...and killed the packers the first time they played them. Really no excuses, they should have won this game. Terrible loss |
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
Talk about an overpaid QB. Chiefs will never win shit with Alex Smith at the helm.

Guys are running wide open and he doesn't see it or misses the throw...he fuckin blows. He's a check down qb |

Looks like Romo is off the hook since he wasn't the QB. Looks like it is a Dallas thing and not Romo. I don't feel so bad we didn't make the dance to be honest. No way we would have made it to the divisional the way we crapped out at the end. I wish we would just hire the new DC and get to work on righting the ship on defense. |
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
Love the fact lotta folks gave the cowboys a "moral victory" for coming back and making it a game. I just laughed like y'all were #1 seed, bye week at home...mutherfuckers, you suppose to win that game.

Exactly! They had everything going for 'em leading up to the game. The hell with the "moral victory" crap. |
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
I think the Chiefs might be done. I can see Roethlisberger, Brown, or Bell bursting their bubble. The Chiefs are also out of timeouts. One first down by Pittsburgh, and this one is over.
|
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
Andy Reid is a good regular season coach, but he's never going to do shit in the playoffs. He continually gets outcoached.
|
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
That's it for the Chiefs. I knew that two-point conversion penalty, which nullified their score, would come back to bite the Chiefs in the ass.
|
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
Steelers are one of the top operations in football and they make it happen by drafting.
|
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
A shame this game came down to a fucking penalty instead of a tie game. The Steelers are ALWAYS looked after by the refs in the playoffs. That much is a given.

Welp, we clearly learned today they def weren't the best in the NFC this year and it wasn't close
Doubtful, he only shows up when they are winning, typical front running poke fan. Probably didn't even post last year. |

Unfortunately, I agree. Another thing that has kept 'em chugging along lately has been a HOF'er QB. |
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
Great games tonight. About time. Dallas is going to be a dangerous team for quite a while I fear.
Im still not 100% sold on Dak, but Zeke and that line are going to be trouble for years. The last thing I remember we dominated the Pack and were basically the new up and comers and they were done. Guess not. Lol. They are playing great. I was rooting for the Chiefs. Not a big Steeler fan. Seahawks, Giants, and Cowpukes all done. I will be pulling for Green Bay now. |
Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
How bout them cowboys LOL !!!

I really can't get over how much harder KC and and the Steelers appear to hit than our D. Both of those teams are full speed to the ball with bad intentions.
Is it all in my head? |

Is it all in my head?
not in your head . . Maybe Cravens at SS , a pass rusher a big bad NT/ DE and some fast mean ILB and a new DC .... we should see some improvements . |

What a beautiful morning, welp time to hear the excuses from Dallas fans about that choke job last night.

Is it all in my head?
I think part of it is due to playoff football which is more intense. Secondly, their full-speed is greater than our full-speed. We lack speed on our defense. More speed = greater force. Scot seems to place less value on speed than he does on other factors. He needs to forget about how nice a player is to his mother and sign faster players for our defense. |

That is usually how it happens. Wasn't there like a 6 year period where we were the last team to best the eventual champs or beat the champs in that regular season |

Skip bayless insisting dak outplayed Aaron Rodgers last night...fucking amazing.
Dan Patrick calling that take completely idiotic. Says look at the facts, no running game...pack have a WR running the ball, jordy Nelson no 1 WR out, cowboys at home, with extra week of rest and everyone was healthy for the cowboys. Cowboys blew it |

Re: Divisional Round Weekend Thread
A couple of things stand out from yesterdays games.
-Steelers and KC play hard and aggressive! -Dallas is going to be good for a while with that line and RB. We need to go into this offseason with the goal of stopping Dallas' running game. It's time to commit to a real NT and two athletic ILB. Foster and Compton are backups. |

Let's take Dez Bryant and Zeke Elliott out of the game, and see how consistently Dak makes plays on the road. Rodgers is the best QB in the league. Who else improvises and makes better throws with the game on the line? |

Until, I see them do it for another year or two, then I'll be a believer. I've seen this movie before, as I've been watching this game for 38 years. In today's NFL, things can really change quickly, outside of a handful of teams. Their offensive line is legit, but we'll see once defensive coordinators get a chance to study film all offseason. |

At DFW airport. Hundreds of dejected fans in Cowboys garb. It's enough to reaffirm the beauty that life has to offer.

I've been saying that for several years. I told some people to not take stuff he say literally, as it's all about attention and ratings (which, equals profit). |

Skip Bayless is an actor. Watching him on that show is no different than watching The Big Bang Theory. |

Typical Skins. One way or another we put teams on the right track .... win or lose. Teams either end their losing streaks against us or get so pissed off that we beat them they start winning streaks. |
