Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Darren Sproles is amazing. The Redskins need to acquire a 3rd down specialist. We haven't had one since Kelvin Bryant.
|
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Laron Landry hurt. In other news, the sun rose this morning and will set this evening.

Helu is perfect for the role, except Kyle is a f*cking idiot. |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Jamaal Charles. Wow, what a game

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
And the Lions head into OT off this 46 yard TD from Hill to Young

Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Three games in OT. I think the guy from the RedZone Channel just got an IV of Red Bull hooked to his arm.
|
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
I guess Stafford is injured again??? Man so many jumped on his bandwagon too soon

Helu seems to be running with cement shoes on this year, I know he's probably not 100% but he hasn't done much. |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3

Tampa offense is so bad but watch them explode next week

Won't shock me in the least. Who wants to take bets on who has a career day against us next week? I bet on Doug Martin. I'm numb to this garbage these days, but anyway, nice to see us scoring some points! :D Truly, RG3 is my hope this year and the only thing that's truly upsetting to me is the fact we are going to give those douchebag Rams a better draft pick. |

Especially after the way they played dirty last week. Also I feel guilty about this but I'm starting Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson in my league next week. |

I am almost positive Vick was concussed during those final plays of the first half. |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
That might be hilarious but if I were a ref I'd stop and reset the play, and that fan would be getting arrested. Note: he probably did get arrested, I'm pretty sure you can't do that.

Dare I say... Manning looks bad

Umm I think the whole team looks bad. |

what game was this for? |

And Houston is the best team by far in the afc |

Don't feel guilty, at least one of them will set a career high. I just get soooo sad watching career highs/franchise records set against us each week. :( |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Damn. Brutal hit on Darrius Heyward-Bey. I hope he's alright. I'm extremely surprised I'm not seeing any flag for hitting a defenseless receiver on the play.
Edit: He gave the thumbs up as he was getting carted off the field. Hopefully that's a positive sign. |

I hate to speculate this, but I think this is a result of players pushing the limit with these replacement refs. There have been a TON of helmet to helmet hits and players leading with their helmets w/o any flags being thrown. UPDATE: Hey-Bey was seen giving a thumbs up as he was being carted. |

UPDATE: Hey-Bey was seen giving a thumbs up as he was being carted.
I think that's a very plausible reason for this. When players know they can get away with a lot more than usual, it's very feasible to see them pushing the limit. |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
I'm not a Raiders fan, although I like DHB a lot from his UMD days, but I am FUMING over the lack of a flag on that play! WTF are these idiot refs looking at?!?!

http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/48732-replacement-refs-story-nfl-wants-keep-5.html#post944116
Yeah, they could've gotten him for helmet-to-helmet or hitting a defenseless receiver on that one. Sometimes it feels like they are just standing there enjoying the experience too much to pay attention. Like the Steve Smith-Corey Webster wrestling match the other day where the ref stood right next to them and did nothing, it's ridiculous. I didn't think they were as bad this week as they were last week, but that's not saying much. They still aren't nearly as good as the regular refs. |
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Horrible PI call in the Denver/Houston game.
|
Pittsburgh d is no longer among the best
|
Re: Around the NFL- Week 3
Pittsburgh is lucky as hell. They recovered 2 of their own fumbles that I'm still baffled as to how the ball bounced in their favor both times. This shouldn't even be a close game but damn it's good.
