Went to a Ravens forum to see what they thought of the signing, majority opinion seems to be that he'll be able to do the job if Matt Birk goes down. I didn't have the heart to tell them they might be setting their hopes a little high. |

Not any diffrent than any other year where if Training camps had started on time, there would be half dozen torn ACL's or other type of season ending knee injuries. Are you a Tom Sawyer or Rush fan? |

Someone on the Redskins.com website said that Heyer tweeted that he is now a Raider. True? I cannot seem to find any information about that anywhere.

Watch him as the ONLY CB we've had that can actually make an dam INT, let alone 4 in a game.....then come back and tell me what you think. Deion couldnt tackle for sh-t and he's the greatest to ever play that position.....EVERY CB gets toasted...#23 ALWAYS shows up on game day, and that's been with a DL who couldnt generate pressure if their life depended on it. If the QB has 45 minutes to throw the ball, hell yeah Hall (or any other CB) is going to get caught slippin..... |

For all the INTs this guy gets, there are so many blown coverages -- sometimes its better to sit on your guy rather than go for the splashy play, something DHall doesn't grasp. He may be the biggest play maker but hes also one of the biggest play giver uppers |

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Viks released Bryant McKinnie
Supposively he showed up "overweight". My guess is he's paying for the Lockout now.. maybe he's a guy who needs to be pushed. With that being said we could still probally use him in Washington. He's kinda old but a 1 year deal could never hurt lol. He helped open some pretty mean holes for AP past few years. I'm just not completly sold on our OL but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
side note: DHall did just fine tackling last season...

Well Carlos Rogers does everything that you would prefer Hall do, everyone is ready for us to just cut ties with him. Who'd you rather have if you had to cut one? Personalities aside.... |

I agree, he's no Lawrence Taylor, but every CB cant be Asomugha....He's a playmaker, point blank period....on a team that has lacked playmakers, especially on defense....If you think our CBs get toasted now, let Hall walk away, see how much we get toasted then.... |
Haters gonna hate.
Eagles gonna buy a super bowl.
Yeah they are really killing it during this FA period. Pretty gross. Ryan Harris, Nnamdi, Jenkins, Babin, Ronnie Brown, VY as a backup... They've made some huge improvements. Some of them over 30 years old though. Their window won't be open long, but for the next couple of seasons it's WIDE open. Andy Reid's last big push? Methinks.... |

What are you talking about? Los just goes for less INTs and hangs on to them even less. He gets exposed in coverage all the time. My argument is that DHall maybe a playmaker but he gives up just as many plays, Carlos is only marginally better and my opinion of him is that he doesn't want to be here, not that he isn't an okay corner. |

Plus I very clearly remember DH getting abused by Jake Delhomme (not Adrian Peterson) on a bootleg when Hall had him dead to rights.

No doubt -- there is a lot to be said for continuity and having played with each other. If I was on the eagles, I would be concerned about putting all these different pieces in on defense and thinking they will magically come together. |
