No wonder I don't want to be married or one of the reasons why I won't get married.

Re: Steve McNair found shot to death!
The police have declared it a murder/suicide. Just saw it on ESPN. They believe she shot McNair while he was asleep on the sofa. He didn't even know what was coming.

Probably better that way. |

I saw this coming. I really feel for his 4 kids. It's sad that he had to die such a violent death.

The police ruling or the whole scenario? |

There certainly are consequences to the choices we make. Some more severe than others. One of the reports I heard said the woman thought McNair was seeing another woman. Apparently she didn't mind cheating with him, but she didn't want to be cheated on by him. |
Re: Steve McNair found shot to death!
Not sure getting murdered is high on the list of typical consequences for cheating.

Emotional 911 Call Released In McNair Case
Posted by Aaron Wilson on July 8, 2009 6:50 PM Emotional 911 Call Released In McNair Case | ProFootballTalk.com Nashville police have released a recording of the emotional 911 call made by Robert Gaddy after he arrived at the crime scene and witnessed the dead bodies of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and McNair's girlfriend, Sahel "Jenny" Kazemi. The case was officially ruled a murder-suicide today with law enforcement officials determining that Kazemi killed McNair by shooting him four times before she committed suicide with a single gunshot to the head. It's believed that McNair was asleep when Kazemi shot him. "I hate to be the one to make this call," said Gaddy, who was clearly distraught. "It's so messed up." Gaddy was a close friend and former Alcorn State teammate of McNair's. Instead of calling 911 when he first discovered the bodies, McNair's friend, Wayne Neely, phoned Gaddy. Then, Gaddy alerted the police about the grisly situation. "I received a phone call that there was an injured part inside this apartment," Gaddy said. "It's two people." Gaddy was asked by the 911 operator if both people were deceased. And he replied, "I think so, sir. I don't know how long they've been there. It's a male and a female. It's so messed up." During the 911 call, Gaddy struggled initially to give the correct address for the downtown Nashville condominium. Gaddy rang off the call shortly after police arrived at the scene and began asking him questions. |

Especially when she's got a gun. |
Re: Steve McNair found shot to death!
Well this was another senseless murder of a young black man by gun violence. Not to make light of this but I new it was not a black women who killed McNair cause she would have not commited suicide after shooting him. Sistas are crazy but they aint that crazy to take their on life over a cheating man. Im glad im not out there like that cause these women are nutz these days.

:Smoker:
Uh, that must be in the New New Testament. I don't really understand why serial cheaters/womanizers get married. If you're a pu**y hound, then that's who you are. Why not just be that? Why screw up someone else by marrying them and screw up the lives of your children by essentially cheating on them too? Just by the pu**y hound that you are and live your life. |

Plus I guess when you're famous you have a lot of people that put on an act around you and while kids can do the same the fact remains that there's more potential for a normal type of relationship, something that feels real, and I think that's something that famous people end up craving. Of course in the case of a guy like Travis Henry, well the guy was to cool to wear a condom. [YT]QA2I9sQPSB0[/YT] |

Hell I'm 39 and I still don't want to get married. lol. |

I'm sure the apartment he was RENTING near the city of Nashville that was near all the bars/clubs was just being used for playing cards. LOL. |

I think McNair was probably having issues with his marriage and life after football, and he found escape with this girl. However poor that decision was, but that doesn't mean he was a serial womanizer. |

Yeah I mean this other, other woman hasn't been confirmed yet, has it? Who knows, maybe he was a serial cheater or this could have been a one time thing. Funny how people love to think the worst though. |
But who's to say McNair was a serial womanizer/cheater?
Well, I wasn't saying it specifically to McNair (although the rumor mill is rife with his exploits) more so asking in general. I used to work with a guy who was married but cheated all the time. I asked him why did he cheat, he said he loved his wife but he loved pu**y more. So I asked why did he bother to get married and he couldn't really come up with an answer other than he thought it was the thing to do. I get the wanting to have a kid thing, but you can be a good father without being married to the mother. |

Funny you should say this SS. Eddie George was talking about how McNair was trying to fill a void in his life after football. Obviously this isn't the way to do it, but he said life after football is a lot harder then people realize. As for the other, other woman, that could have been all in that girls head. |

When did he say that? It's not an uncommon problem with athletes. I was just talking to an ex-NFL'er the other day (not Eddie George) who saying that exact thing. That some players have a hard time adjusting to it, and preparing for it. I mean at 33 I feel like my career and, in many ways my life, is just starting. If I were a pro athlete I'd probably be considered past my prime at this point. That can be a tough thing to deal with. |

I saw it yesterday. It was either ESPN or COMCAST I think. It may even have been CNN. I was channel surfing. :) |

Definitely. Plus you have the competitive spirit which drove your career, a spirit which now lacks an outlet. And, for the vain, you are not as much of the hot-shot celebrity that you used to be. |

Toying around with a 20yr old girl's feeling's is asking for trouble especially when you have created a cerain lifestyle for her then threaten to take it away. In all respect to McNair but: "Mama told you not to play with fire. Fire burn u"
