Per Ben Standig,
“The Commanders sought out more big plays out of the backfield. JCM's 42-yard run was longer than any Brian Robinson carry with Washington. “ Sorry folks, B Rob had to go
Very telling and perfect justification for the move. JCM did it in his first game. He bounces to the edge quickly and has very quick acceleration. Him and Ekeler are explosive. |
Re: Good Bad and Ugly reaction vs Giants
Brob was good for pushing the line. There were times when he would run straight into the line, and couldn't be taken down. Just kept the legs moving and pushing the pile for an extra 2-4 yds. That stopped sometime after week 10 last year. It's a shame because i loved watching that style of running. Up the gut and push the pile.
I hope he does well, but also much happier with where our rb's are at now. |
Re: Good Bad and Ugly reaction vs Giants
Felt like if we just hit a few more things that could have been a blowout, 31-6. At least for week one, the defense looked way better. Those guys upfront were dominating.

Re: Good Bad and Ugly reaction vs Giants
highest rate of incompletions due to receiver error:
37.5% - Matthew Stafford 36.4% - Jayden Daniels 35.7% - Joe Flacco 33.3% - Tua Tagovailoa 30.8% - Dak Prescott receiver error primary consists of drops, but also accounts for when a receiver lost control at the ground, receiver slipped or fell to cause an incompletion, didn't get both feet inbounds but should have been able to & a couple other small instances (does not include miscommunication) -Warren Sharp Depending on how the season goes ( Lane development) and our health, especially Noah Brown….would not surprise me in the least if we moved a 7 or 6th round pick for another receiver. |

There were a couple throws that were possibly catchable that were still a tad high. Jayden is an awesome QB, he will make that adjustment pretty quickly. Would be surprised to see those Thursday night. |
