Yup. I remember them well. Okung was the higher rated guy coming out (although not by much).

Jim Lachey? Traded a starting QB for him... |

Lachey couldn’t carry those guys’ jocks

Lachey was a very good LT along the lines of Chris Samuels. I have seen them all play (and Jacoby as well) when they were at there best. Trent is the very best among a very, very good group of left tackles. |
Re: Trent Williams Named Sporting News All-Pro For Second Consecutive Year
I was just joking around about Lachey, he was very good

Re: Trent Williams Named Sporting News All-Pro For Second Consecutive Year
As great as Lachey was you didn't see him getting out on screens and running 30 yards downfield to take out a safety the way Trent can. Or coming out on a bubble screen and actually reaching the corner.
Football wasn't played like that back in the 80s, but if they had athletes like Trent Williams in the 80s, they would have found a way to play like that. His athleticism lets you do some amazing things - he's a big part of the reason Chris Thompson is the threat that he is. He creates the open space, Thompson then uses his talents to take advantage of it. |
Re: Trent Williams Named Sporting News All-Pro For Second Consecutive Year
No doubt Trent is one of a kind athletically

Not about TW, But here is a reminder of how the 2015 Draft class of OL has gone so far...
5. Brandon Scherff 9. Ereck Flowers 13. Andrus Peat 19. Cam Erving 21. Cedric Ogbuehi 24. D.J. Humphries 28. Laken Tomlinson (Bonus) 34. Donovan Smith 1 out of 8 has proven worthy of their pick... |

TW working out with AD, this is just unreal
TW is just a badass. Plain and simple. Love it. Love it. Love it. I cannot wait to see him get to the second level out in front of Guice (if you’re a LB, that coming downhill should be pretty daunting). That should be his second nickname - Next Level. And I still think fondly of his bitch slap of Richard Sherman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would agree with this! If he's not in the hall of fame someday, it will be a real tragedy. |
Re: Trent Williams Named Sporting News All-Pro For Second Consecutive Year
At this rate Trent is a sure fire Hall of Famer, I'm definitely going to that induction

Re: Trent Williams Named Sporting News All-Pro For Second Consecutive Year
After 4 games
Trent has a Pass Block grade of 88.8 (PFF) If he keeps this pace it will be the 2nd best of his career. He has allowed 1 sack on 135 drop backs this season. That is awesome. The rest of the OLINE pass blocking grades are below. Chase Roullier = 59.2 Tony Bergstrom = 63.2 Morgan Moses = 63.7 Brandon Scherff = 80.2 Overall pretty good so far. |
