Positives for the year.

Kirk cousins proved that he is a good QB and not a 1 hit wonder like many thought he would be. Is he a top 5 QB? NO but he can be a top 10 passer.

OL for the most part was good all yr.

Offense put up a ton of yards and points, pretty fun too watch most games.

Josh Norman was worth the money.

Kerrigan was solid like usual. Not great

Mason Foster has a lot of potential.

Baker is good.

Reed, garcon, crowder, CT, djax, VD. All had great years.

Gruden is a good coach, he's been here 3 years and has 2 winning seasons. I'll take that.


NEGATIVES.

Run Game was bad most of the yr.

Run def was historically bad, we saw it week 1 against deangelo Williams and it never got better.

Pass rush was avg at best, Preston Smith only plays well against bad lines.

Secondary was injured and bad all yr outside of Norman.

Still think we need a couple new guys on the offensive line, if for solid depth if anything. Josh was a great pickup, but not sure he is worth what we paid him. When his comrades suck it is hard for him to be as effective as he can be.

I haven't looked but I know at the beginning of the season I said 8-9 wins would be the top this team gets. Most of us did, I'll see if I can find the thread. Point is, we all should feel good about the team. We aren't a joke like we were for many years. Since 2012 we have 3 winning seasons. That's not bad folks. It takes time

We pretty much allowed ourselves to yet again buy into the midseason hype that we were better than what we actually were. The thing that kills me in the total lack of consistentsy in terms of intensity. We beat the Packers only to flop the rest of the way. Damn, our last playoff win was 17 years ago. I was 30, now I am pushing 50. I hope to watch us win a playoff game before then.

The Redskins' last playoff win was actually 12 years ago. We beat Tampa Bay in the Wild Card game after the 2005 season.

Awww, man! That game sucked turds, outside of us getting the win.

It was right at that moment that I surmised Mark Brunell was falling apart, and was basically done as a starting QB in this league. That dude basically stunk up the joint the following season. He could only throw short routes, and it took everything in him to throw it deep. Horrible!
