Well tied anyway. I dont think Carolina is quite as good as their record is. A ton of close games they have played. Not sure why I said that like Yoda?
They are following the Seattle game plan. Play average on offense, win the games with defense, and watch everyone proclaim your QB as the MVP. Kuechly is the MVP of that team, not Newton. |
I do wonder if Ingram got hurt, he was in the game much after the long run. (Not complaining)
I was wondering what happened to him and why he wasn't getting the ball. |
Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread
Actually, I think it was Cousins who found money on the field today. Like $8M a year-type money.
Hey Kirk -- you like that?
Not sure he's going to like that. That is bottom tier QB money. He's probably going to want to be paid like a middle of the pack QB. |
Good: 2015 Draft Class- Matt Jones, Brandon Scherff, Jamison Crowder, Keyshon Jarrett
Better: The defense vs Brees Best: Kirk Cousins and his perfect performance
Pretty much sums it up. We need to keep getting the ball to Crowder. |

Great win. I was expecting a shootout and early on it sure looked like it was heading that way. Great job by the D shutting down Brees and co. Big props to KC, Jones, and the OL.

I was saying that during the game yesterday, things sure are looking good for our OL for the future. |
Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread
Great: Cousins and Oline had a great day. Our kicker is out of control...Jay and McVay great great great
Good: Crowder has a chance to be really damn good. Jones and Alfmo...that's the one-two punch I expected. Thompson too getting in the act. Best: But to me, Defense was the biggest story. I just didn't expect that. We kept a HOF QB off balance with good concepts in coverage and limited the run outside that Ingram carry. This time we also made those INT catches instead of dropping them. |

Moses has been such an upgrade over Polumbus. |
Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread
Hoping that Moses / Scherf is a combination that stays with us for many, many years. With T. Williams locked up, we have the potential for a dominate O-line for years to come.

Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread
I thought Long was actually playing really well yesterday. Whenever I saw a block being made downfield, he was almost always part of it.

Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread
Everyone played well, still seems like a dream. After the Saints 1st drive they only scored 7 more points. And that only occurred on a big play on busted coverage. Pretty good resolve by the defense after such a bad start.

I still can't remember the last time I could truly enjoy a game without a weird anxious pit in my stomach. Maybe the time we beat the Lions by like 40 points years ago?

Coaching coaching coaching. We have a top OLine Coach Callahan. Can't wait to see what he does with the young guys on our roster like Kouandijo |

With the vast cap space we will have next year, I say we target Alex Mack as our C in FA. This line would be as good or better than the Cowboys with Mack in there. |
