Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I am interested in Winston (the Tackle) from the Texans though! Kyle should have a good idea what he he is like...

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Both Carlos and Carr have to come at the right price. Corners tend to be overpaid though cause of the value of the position. Both good corners but in my opinion aren't worth the contract that the market might dictate.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Player_HTTR mentioned it in the Redskins FA Tracker thread (which is fine, since he was considered for the Redskins), but Colston is returning to the Saints (5 year deal)

I'd say bummer but I wasn't too big on Colston anyways. I think it makes sense for both him and the Saints. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I'll take the Lenscrafters version of Carlos.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Heard John Clayton this morning saying that the Redskins will come out of the gates quick in Free Agency and be very active.
Also went on to say that some of the projected Free Agents that may be targeted by Washington will also be targeted by Tampa Bay. The Bucs have TONS of cap room and there may be some bidding wars going on. |

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Interesting...
Adam Caplan @caplannfl There might be some surprise releases in the next few hours if some veterans don't agree to paycuts. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Like Marcus McNeil...who we had been targeting back when we got Brown

His first few years in the league he was really good, and then he dropped off for some reason. Might have been injuries, I know he got injured a couple times. Also isn't he one of the bigger tackles, i.e. probably not suited for our scheme? I'd rather grab Winston. |

I thought McNeil was a lock to be released? Speaking of o-linemen, I hope the Saints are able to keep Nicks, I hear the Cowboys are going to pursue him if he hits free agency. |
