Tripp have you rated the WR draft crop yet and/or FAs at that spot? Like to take a look if ya have.
There are two tabs here.

The FA ratings are by approximate value (AV) accumulated in the last three years. The WR ratings are subjective.

good stuff. The draft is so deep with recievers, i think your pretty close on stuff. Broyles, Criner, Toon could be those mid round WR steals. I really dont know about that Randle guy, but what ive read, seems very intriguing. Id like to Adams, Hill or the Baylor kid with our second round pick.

I think in FA, I still like V-Jax, Colston, and Garcon. I wouldnt give Garcon a crazy contract but something decent. If we get Manning, I probably would go with #1 WR money, if not, pay him like a solid second. I think there is gonna be alot of over paying for what results you could get.

so DJ, bowe, branch, wallace, welker, and probably finley and one of the saints (brees/nicks) will get tagged and be off the market. dqwell and brooks are already gone, garcon wants over 7mill a year apparently...

I think a flyer on moss and trying for meachem or SJ is probably the best option, though VJ wouldn't be bad either. in the draft i like black (obviously) or criner.

Finnegan and Grimes got tagged this morning.. Makes Brandon Carr that much more expensive for teams looking for a top CB.

Saints are up against the cap(trying to work the contracts under it) with several good free agents, not to mention Brees. I think it's just negotiations.

I thought Finnegan wasn't tagged

That is correct Adam Schefter said that Finnegan will NOT be tagged. Jlac is an idiot

Hey Smoot, what's the word on getting a CB through free agency? I somehow get the feeling that the team won't spend a lot of money on getting one of these top CBs, if they are going to spend money on a #1 WR.
Sure they will. He's Mike Wallace.

The real question is whether someone will sign him if they think Pittsburgh will match the offer.
Wonder if New England will make a move for Wallace. Or perhaps settle for Brandon Lloyd.

Ya I was gonna ask smoot the same question. I would LOVE to have Brandon Carr. But I get a bad feeling that we'll get Ronde Barber.

Really? Ronde Barber? He's a little old to ask to be our starting corner.

the best 2 options out there at corner will be Finnegan and Carr, Carr would be my first choice bc of age but i would be fine with Finnegan. At WR im not sure whats going to happen with Bowe, if he somehow tests the market we should snag him, if not i say Stevie Johnson.

Carr had alot of issues in coverage from what I read. After a couple decent seasons, last year was a serious let down. Bringing Carr into to replace Hall doesnt fix the problem.
