I thought of them as I wrote it:) How've you been 53? :food-smil |
I hate the Jets. Mark Sanchez has no business receiving any praise at all, and I can't stand Rex Ryan's pompous style. Reminds me too much of his father, who we all hated for VERY obvious reasons.
They almost made my list for exactly the reasons you said, but Revis is tough to hate and I've always liked LT. Plus it's pretty funny to watch all the Sanchez hype and Ryan trash-talk continually fall short.
Ravens - fans hate us and love to throw their success in our face. F the Ravens and their fans.
Yeah, I've come to really hate the ravens over the last few years and it's mainly due to their fans. I was rooting for them back when they won the Super Bowl (sorry again Bohnzie) but since that time their fans have become so annoying that I now hate the whole organization. I can't stand Ray Lewis and his stupid intense-whisper-talking, and I really hate their whiny coach. Things got worse for me when I moved from MoCo to Baltimore, in the shadow of their over-rated stadium. Now I work with mainly ravens fans, most of whom couldn't care less about the team unless they're winning. |
Re: What non-Divisional Team Do You Hate The Most?
Ill say that while the Jets are currently up there with the eagles as a team I cant stand at all right now I agree with a lot of people and Im not really fond of the stealers either, primarily based off how they conduct themselves. I used to feel sorry for the Bangles and liked them out of pitty, now I don’t really like them because of their owner and I cant stand Chris Collinsworth talk for more than 2 minutes. I get why people hate the Patriots and I initially wast a fan but now they are one of my favorite non-Redskins teams, I just really like the way they conduct themselves as a no-nonsense type team plus I have a lot of respect for Robert Kraft. GB seems to be getting some hate too and although I really don’t like Mike Mcarthy ive always liked the history of the franchise and have heard many times that they have the nicest fans in the NFL. Also I m not trying to change the topic of the thread or defend roethlisberger by any stretch, but I think people who are quick to call him rapist should read this first.

Wait, why is Revis hard to hate? He held out into the season got a huge contract and then got hurt as Randy Moss was catching a TD over his head. Now I will say he is probably the best CB in the league, but that doesnt make it tough for me to hate him at all! |

I understand what you're getting at but obviously you don't know some of the same fans I know. Whenever a team wins SB's there are ALWAYS people jumping on the bandwagon. Some of the ones I know don't watch games but wear Steelers gear and couldn't even tell you what their record is right now or what division they're in. BTW...I was a fan of the Steeler's for years. I have a lot of respect for this organization but because of Ben and the new "Fans", not so much anymore. |

The last time I watched the "killer Bee's " , they got squashed by HOGS , oh just for good measure run over by a big bad diesel ! |
Raiders...I'm still not over that ass-whipping they put on us in the Superbowl.
Could not possibly agree more. I've said the same in a number of past posts. I think you'd be hard pressed to identify a darker, more disappointing Redskin loss in at least the last 30 years. That Redskins team was absolutely dominant and had the chance to repeat as champs, and yet that game was a disaster from beginning to end, what with the blocked punt-returned for TD on the opening possession, the pick-6 before the half, and the Allen run in the second half when the game was already all but finished, a highlight that has remained a staple of SB highlights ever since. At the time, it was the biggest blowout in SB history. I don't actually know when the Raiders began marketing their "Commitment to Excellence" tag, but I do know that I never noticed it until after that SB. Ever since, I've hated that team as much as any of our divisional opponents. I know it sounds harsh, but the best column I read on Al Davis' passing was the one Rick Reilly posted on ESPN, the gist of which was "F Al Davis." Agreed, and F the Raiders, too. |

Ravens, never liked them, but what a waste of a good defense over the last ten years.

I lived & worked in Pittsburgh for 5 years and the fans there are nuts, its 24/7 Steelers. They arent bandwagon, they are hard-core. I wouldnt judge the loyality of Steelers fans by a few shirt wearers in southeast VA. |
