It it was all BS, then why say anything at all? That was my point. |
Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
I doubt we will trade for QUINN or Anderson on Draft day... That said you never know with Our skins, now they say we may trade up for Sanchez! If this happens then JC deserves better, F the Browns lol.

I agree with you. JC would deserve better. If the Skins do take Sanchez, this kid should grow a moustache and change his first name to Dirty. |
Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
^^^^this ftw lol
It would really hurt my feelings if we moved up and took a QB or traded for one. JC's been pretty cool about all this and its the last year of his contract. It's time to play big ball for JC and he knows it. |
Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
Funny. JC played lights out for 8 games and was being talked about for Probowl. Then the last 8 games happen and all of a sudden he sucks. Something changed between the first 8 games and the last 8 but I doubt it was all JC's fault.
Some have mentioned that the line broke down. If that's the case how come no one is calling for people's heads on the O-line as much as they are about JC's? and instead of upgrading the QB spot people keep talking about QB with similar talent and stats. go figure. Yes he has a slow throwing motion. Yes he does take more time going through his progressions, but could it possibly be learning a new offense and trusting that WR's will be where they are supposed to be? and possibly he has trouble reading defenses. however for 8 games he read them well. No interceptions. Hopefully he can be the JC of the first 8 games all season next yr. |
It is always the same every single year at this time just before the draft. Teams will shop players to see what kind of draft compensation they can get. 9 times out of 10 though, deals don't get done.
Although I have heard over the last month or so that the Giants have been talking to Cleveland about Braylon Edwards a lot. Since Plax is gone they are looking for another premier target for Sheli.
Sources: Giants expected to land Edwards - NFL - Yahoo! If the Giants pull this deal off, then that would be a steal. Edwards dropped balls last year, don't expect that to happen this year. The Giants have made all the right moves during the off season and if they pull this deal off, then you might as well pencil them in for NFC champions barring injuries. No, I'm not a Giants lover. |
Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
Well, we don't know how much the Giants are offering. And why is Edwards suddenly not likely to drop passes in New York?

The Giants crush (you said it wasn't love) continues. What did the Giants do? They overpaid for Canty, he will be a huge disappointment there in my opinion. They added 2 other Defensive guys with questionable character issues (and NY is not the best place for that sorta thing). They did not yet address WR, and if they get Edwards he may or may not make them better. And they let Wind go, so now they only have Earth and Fire. It may all work out, but it's not enough to guarantee an NFC title, let alone an NFC East crown. geez. |
Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
I haven't been paying much attention, but since the Cowchips lost Owens, have they picked up any receiver of note?
I wonder if they'll stay put with Witten, Crayton, and Miles Austin? Not much of a receiving threat there. |

They lost Tank Johnson, Zack Thomas, Roy Williams, and Terrel Owens. |

No you're not, you're just sleeping with them. |

And they almost lost Austin to the Jets. They also have not added any cornerbacks but they did lose Pacman and Henry. Their pass D was not very good last year and it may be worse this year, even with the addition of Sensabaugh at safety. |

How did they lose their first rounder? Tank, Zack and Roy Williams were no big losses really. |
