Reread the thread. You'll see quite a few that got it. Those that didn't...no problem. Then there is really only you in the thread who'd rather make personal attacks and act inappropriately, than leave the thread alone. Sounds like you had a bad day. Was it an upset tummy? Toothache? Just ornery to begin with?

For the record, I fail to see anyone who "got it." Thank you for the advice on when to leave a thread alone, by the way. I really appreciate it, as I wasn't entirely sure what to do before you clued me in. I was sitting in front of my computer, staring into space without the foggiest notion of how to proceed with my life.

alright, i got your pm, but seeing as how you're continuing this thing here:

A) the first thing i asked was if this was for real, and you responded that it surely was not.

B) nothing i posted was really mean spirited (and it was directed more at the thread), but how seriously am i supposed to take a thread you're now calling satire far after the fact anyways? seems like you'd like it both ways, that you can "make fun" but everyone else has to take you seriously, which leads to doubts about whether this whole thing was satire in the first place.

c) again, a silly thread doesn't deserve serious responses, and arguing with someone who actually thinks this is a real problem would be pointless. trust me, this board has seen plenty of trolling with "awkward" opinions in the past. It's easier to just change the subject than see people get all warped about something that doesn't really matter in the first place.

d) you tell people not to be mean-spirited towards you and immediately follow it up by taking a shot yourself, so, yeah, you're a real winner there too.

First of all, my apologies to Skinsguy and mhelsig. My comment was not meant to be directed at you. It was meant for a previous (hijack) post from That Guy. I saw Skinsguy and reacted to the "Guy" part. My apologies again. Sorry, you both didn't like the thread. Just for the record, mhelsig, wasn't you're last post more sarcasm then satire? Either way I'll take the hit and a big piece of humble pie.
