Blame Reid and Banner for never giving McNabb a WR of note, T.O. aside. Look at McNabb's stats when he had a true #1 receiver in T.O.'s first season - they're off the charts. This regime also drafted Todd Pinkston and Billy McMullen. At some point, Reid and Banner should have helped McNabb by signing a top free agent WR not named T.O.
I had high hopes for McMullen...he was the man in college...I still remember him pulling down a game winner on the last play of the game to beat Clemson some years back
I have heard it said many times but the facts are they have still found away to make it into the playoffs. Is it Reids fault that they have not gone out and picked up some help for MvNabb or an owner who is too cheap.
I think it the arrogance of the front office. Everyone is on their nuts but in the end this team has never won a SB because they are a one dimensional team with no weapons on offense.

I agree that making the playoffs, getting to the NFC champ and SB is good. But when you have a team do those things in multiple years then you're talking about a team that should have won a big one by now. I feel like once you are a perrennial playoff team you are only successful if you win the SB. We go out and make the SB this year and lose thenI am probably relatively happy. If I am an Eagles fan by year 3 of not either not making the SB or losing and I am pissed.

Injuries at several key areas contributed some to their demise last night, but the Giants played a good game, and were all over D-Nabb.

On another note...we better put up 80+ points on the Lions this week, considering McNabb and company put up 56 with their offensive "weapons".

I also think people will be pleasantly surprised with how our defense handles the Lions high octane passing offense.

They still had Westbrook for that game, and Curtis is not a bad WR, not a #1 type, but not bad at all.

Westbrook is really the difference-maker--without him, it's very hard to get that offense going, especially with McNabb unable to run as of old and the O-line being weak.
