Can anyone really say with a straight face that Joey is in the same ballpark as Jaws as a commentator?
You don't like Mark May?
Ah, I forgot about Mark May since he does college. I do like Mark May and (if we count Desmond Howard) I don't mind him either. I was more thinking of Riggins when I wrote that post. I hate Riggins.
He's a great Redskin, but IMO a very average analyst. As far as on the spot film breakdown and analysis, he can't hold a candle to Jaworski.
You know, I hear more and more people throwing all sorts of praise upon Ron Jaworski for his analysis and breakdowns, but to me, he comes across as the guy who's a know-it-all. At times, he goes a bit overboard and I find him to be every bit of the talker that Joe Theismann was -- if not moreso.

I don't hate him or anything -- but I don't really get all the love.

Jaworski is the only reason I can stand the commentary on MNF. Tony does a good job on PTI, but not MNF and I hope they get a couple better guys to pair Ron up with. It could be a great broadcast team...

I honestly liked Joey better. I am more than willing to admit it's cause he was my childhood hero though.
Jaws kind of annoys me a little at time cause he tends to get very vocal, and has difficulty holding on to the volume of his words too. He reminds me of Kornheiser. And While I like the both of them, just seems like they are yelling in the booth a lot.
