Re: ESPN's "Who's Now" Stinks
At the same time though they also all picked Tony Parker over Roger Federer.
Granted, Parker was just named the NBA Finals MVP and he just married a (hot) B-list celebrity, but Federer may very well be considered the greatest tennis player of all time in the very near future.
I guess the problem with Federer is the fact that he's squeaky clean and doesn't run his yap all the time, so by ESPN's standards he's pretty much irrelevant.
Good point... although I'd say Federer is still dominant (although Nadal is closing in). Federer should definitely have taken Parker- present and past.

Well the fans voted for Parker as well, so take from that what you will.

Pretty much.

I guess my main problem with the whole thing is ESPN's attempt to hype it up, which just makes it very corny. Props to them for having balls to try something new, but I don't think it is working. But again I don't know the impact it has on ratings, maybe SS could do some snooping around for us.

I just don't think the whole who's now segment has entertained espn fans or brought in more just to watch SC. But we are sitting here arguing about this, so I guess it did draw attention.

That's about as best as I can answer it. I haven't really looked at the ratings for SC lately

And the dumber ones watch that show and get riled up about the dumb picks. LOL.

I'd rather watch a woman driving than watch "who's now."

This segment is for ESPN's "gay" audience. If you enjoy it, you are gay.
