Looking like it might be 0-29. Just missed a key birdie.

Tiger & Furyk were right there just couldn't knot it up, for extra holes. Did want to see one of the USA boys get it done.

Something king of strange about seeing someone competing in a major sports competition, holding the lead, and suddenly pulling out a pack of Marlboros to have a smoke.

In the old days they all smoked. Nicklaus stopped smoking in front of the cameras in the early 60s. Palmer, Hogan, Jones - all avid smokers. I was actually glad to see Cabrera win because he was so visibly nervous after about 15. If you've played any competetive golf you know that feeling and it's hard not to sympathise. Tiger seemed almost ill early on. He was sweating like a chief.

I remember seeing highlights of NFL coaches smoking on the sidelines, even players smoked at half-time apparently. Plus you'd have guys like Cronkite, and Carson smoking during their telecasts. And of course, there's this

Still, it's weird to see in this day and age.

John Daly would have been proud.

Yeah I think that is why he was smoking soo much. He was very nervous, but kept his game up. It was funny the first time the tv cameras caught him smoking.

I hadn't heard that! Congrats Tiger. I'm not typically the type to be enamored by stars/athletes, but I am a HUGE Tiger fan.
