If I were him, I wouldn't enter any kind of contract discussions until I find out who is throwing me passes next year - and beyond. |

We can/should throw him around 20 million per year. Just don't shortchange him. Him and Allen are gonna be the 2 leaders to bring us back to success. If no contract - Definitely franchise tagging him for 1 year. |

Yeah I hear you, but let's be real, when it's your time to get paid, you listen. He's looking at life changing generational wealth. Big picture who cares about who your QB is when you're talking about a deal probably worth close to $20M a year, and probably over $50M guaranteed. |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
NFL just inked over 100 Billion in 10 yeas of TV deals, theyve been crushing TV rating this past year, 2023 cap could jump to 225M from the current 208M.
If Im Terry .. I wait a year unless Skins offer stoopid money. Wr tag will be 22M range by then. -------------- Terry has made pennies so far compared to his teammates. Hes made about as much as Troy Apke in his career so far. In these situations, I hope the Skins approached his camp last offseason to show him the money. When a player is being vastly underpaid vs production and you wait until the last moment ... that wouldnt sit well with me. |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
The money is always going to be higher next year... do you really risk an injury over maybe $2M more per season?

I get that, he'll listen and he should. Maybe they'll blow him away - who knows. But this will be his first real NFL pay day. He will likely have at least one more - but not if he continues to have a QB who constantly puts his health in jeopardy. There's no reason to be in a hurry to get it done if your Terry. At a minimum, he should wait to see who the QB is going to be. |

Snyder either paid him off or threatened to sue him into the stone age, or someone told him if you want to work in the NFL on the media side, releasing this book right now isn't a good idea for your career. Either way, it was probably a bad idea on his part to go around telling everyone this was in the works. He set himself up to look bad. |

Damnit, I was really looking forward to that whine/blame fest. |

I don't know how much Cooper would cost, and I want them to focus on getting Terry's deal done. But adding Cooper to this WR group would entice any QB IMO. Hell, even a rookie QB would benefit from having Terry, Cooper, Logan, and (a hopefully healthy) Samuel. |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
I would pass on Cooper.

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
No thanks. He's going to want 20+ mil. I hope they don't pursue any of the top WRs in free agency either. I would rather them grab a WR in the draft. It's not a critical need anyway - especially if Samuels comes back 100%, and they work something out with C Sims.
