The NFL will probably just take the easier route and ban defense to prevent teams from trying to stop Tom Brady.

And the reason they'll provide for the punishment is that by the Redskins actively trying to defend against Tom Brady, they are upsetting the uncompetitive balance the league is seeking to achieve.

I blame Vinny and Dan for this type of stupid contracts. Had to go and set the market with a 100million dollar defensive lineman. /facepalm

At what point is it going to stop? You can't dedicate but so much money to a player to field a competitive team. Make no mistake about it, I think the players should get a bulk of the money, but paying one guy(not a QB) that?
