Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Damn, I just saw a video of Philly's new pick LeSean McCoy -- he looks like a clone of Brian Westbrook.
runs a 4.43 40
davis loves speed over anything.. he's the combine champion
As Davis gets older, his senility rules the draft... this may be the worst draft by one team I've seen in years. |

He can't block though. |

Sorry should have quoted Denny. |
And Duke Robinson. I'm surprised he wasn't the first guard taken.
That would be a nice surprise (get Robinson in the 3rd round), although another guard in the 3rd round? I hope this one works out better. |
Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Anybody else have a sick feeling going through this round seeing all the players we would have had a shot at?

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Please tell me you have ESPN on. Kiper had Mitchell as a potential free agent. He just said that they could have probably waited until at least the 5th round. Hell, ESPN doesn't even have a clip on this kid.
Imagine Mitchell's weekend. He probably is out to dinner or something tonight, maybe going to a club. He figures he might get a call tomorrow afternoon, but instead he ends up going in the middle of the 2nd round!!! That's got to be a good feeling.
hahaha, no doubt.. everything that I read about the kid is good but still |

No, what's the point. We got a beast for the defensive line and our defense will get stronger. |
Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
That safety from Ohio U that no one has heard of that the Raiders absurdly picked at #47... Shocker- he ran a 4.4 40 at his pro-day. Al Davis get's hammered drunk of off fast 40 times. What a fool. They take a guy mid-2nd round who wasn't even invited to the combine. Wow.

MIcheal Johnson is still on the board. Does anyone think he's worth a 3?

Yeah, I definitely am. That 2nd round pick we gave up for Taylor could have been Loadholt or Sintim easily. |
Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
I can't believe we haven't made any moves to move into the second round. DS doesn't like to sit around and watch.

How would we exactly move up? |

Wow. I forgot about him. He's definitely worth a 3, just not for us. Not with the need at tackle and OLB. |
