Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Just saw Appaloosa (sp?) w/ Ed Harris and Viggo Mortenson. Decent western. I enjoyed it. Both great actors.

Give the 5th installment of Saw a try? I haven't seen any of them since the first one. Seen some of the second. |

As a horror freak, I can say it's tough to make a good one... fear is truly difficult to trigger on a cinematic level. I'm actually looking forward to this Swedish flick coming out soon: [YT]ICp4g9p_rgo[/YT] |

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Just saw Religulous. I liked it, very funny without being disrespectful. I was one of 7 people in the crowd, 3 of which were with me. No way this makes much money.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Just caught the swedish horror flick, "Let the Right One In" (see youtube trailer above)... was a very good film. Different, but really cool scenes. Watch it when it opens wide.
US remake comes out next year (directed by the guy that did Cloverfield). |

Oh dude... you're on top of your stuff. Inside is one of the best horror flicks I've seen the past few years. Excellent photography and crazy audio. That woman was nuts! |

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Don't laugh but I finally got around to watching No Country for Old Men last night. Very good flick, I enjoyed it but was it really best picture worthy? I think it's debateable.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Watched Tropic Thunder a few days ago. Funny for sure. Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black steal the show for sure.
Got Step Brothers on DVD as a Christmas gift...I'm looking forward to it. |
