Im serious...when was the last time Bruce held a press conference? He hides like a lil girl and sends out Doug Williams or Jay to answer for this garbage.

He needs to answer for that performance...Id like to know about the London's name as well. These are details that if don't understand the importance, then you are missing just how mismanaged the franchise truly is...
He needs to be fired. I don't get people's obsession with hearing from him. He never says anything when he talks, just bullshit. He just needs to be fired.

Dan Snyder could get the fan base back by firing Bruce and promoting Kyle Smith. I wish Gibbs or someone close to him would tell him that.

I think you have to move on from Smith as well. This organization needs a total house cleaning. No left overs. That way the new guy can't say, " well you made me keep this guy and I don't like the way he grades players" ... You have to bring in a top guy and let him hire his own people. Or at least let him decide whether or not to keep certain guys like Smith.

Personally, I'd call up Ozzie Newsome and see if he'd be interested in fixing this shit.

At this point I really don't care to hear from him. He's a weasel and a snake who won't take any accountability. Dan just needs to move on from him. He's not only bad at his job but he's bad for business.

Over 36% of Keenum’s dropbacks (including those wiped by penalty) had a blitz, and it generated a pressure over 50% of the time.

Along with the enhanced blitz package, Pagano threw in stunts that clearly gave the Redskins a headache. Moreover, Keenum faced stunts on 27% of his dropbacks, and this is where edge rusher Leonard Floyd found the most success. On those pass-rushes, Floyd came away with a 90.8 grade and 28.6% win rate (Mack had a 94.0 pass-rush grade and 56.3% win rate in a stunt)

On Bears 3rd downs, I tried to pause the TV to see how many men we brought, seemed like we did a lot of rushing 4 straight ahead again. We got 3 sacks last night so that is improvement on the stat sheet but I still didnt notice any real blitzes or pressure.

Heard on radio I guess Cooley mentioned the Bears were getting to the line as quickly as possible so the coaches still had time to talk to Trubisky in the head set about our formation but we never switched formations or try to change our look.

Yep, it reminded me of how a lot of college offenses operate.

HA! Manusky got completely schooled last night...Period.

Aren't there like three former/current defensive coordinators on the payroll? Maybe that's part of the communication problems

I would be remiss if I didnt vent about this sequence and decision from Gruden ...

1st & 10 at CHI 19

(15:00 - 4th) C.Keenum pass short left to V.Davis pushed ob at CHI 4 for 15 yards (P.Amukamara).
1st & Goal at CHI 4

(14:31 - 4th) C.Keenum pass incomplete short right to J.Sprinkle.
2nd & Goal at CHI 4

(14:27 - 4th) C.Thompson right guard to CHI 2 for 2 yards (N.Williams; L.Floyd).
3rd & Goal at CHI 2

(13:54 - 4th) (Shotgun) C.Thompson left tackle to CHI 2 for no gain (K.Mack).
4th & Goal at CHI 2

(13:11 - 4th) Paul Richardson Pass From Case Keenum for 2 Yrds, TOUCHDOWN. C.Keenum pass to T.McLaurin is incomplete. TWO-POINT ATTEMPT FAILS.

--------------------

Adrian Peterson was pissed he wasnt getting the goalline carries. As he should have been. Cameras showed a visibly pissed off Adrian Peterson a la the Saints game w Sean Peyton a few years ago. To AP's credit, when we scored on 4th down he was cheering and congratulating the players.

In Jays presser after the game (which was brutal, he looked to be on the verge of crying) he explained back to back carries to CT saying we got positive yards the first time and ran the exact same play but CT for whatever reason had a hole and didnt pick up the yards. Im not sure he was talking about this goal line B2B calls but maybe another series .. reporter I thought was asking him about his decision to go B2B w CT on the goal line and it seemed jay was explaining rationale for a different series .. idk

Inside the fucking 5 .. run AP.

Make the game simple where you can.

Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread

Jay is just such a predictable play-caller. Run almost every single first down. When O’Connell takes over next week we’ll see this offense improve, even with this pitiful OL. I mean they use the worst blocking TE in the NFL (Vernon Davis) to try to stop Mack ALONE. Result - sack. My theory now is that Gruden is now trying to get fired.

Manusky has the most super-vanilla defensive schemes I’ve ever seen. No blitzes or stunting or imagination of any kind. I think we will see a huge improvement when someone else comes in and shakes things up. We have some good defensive players but they are absolutely handicapped by this DC.
