Time to clean house 1.0.
None of us really (like REALLY) know how involved Snyder is in the day to day, and player decision making. I do believe Snyder wants to win badly, but also badly wants to be involved, because he loves the team and football so deeply. He doesn’t mean to hurt the team, it just ends up that way.
My problem is with the people he hires. From a public perception Cerrato and Allen are the two primary issues, because they’re the guys in place to “act” as the GMs and make all decisions on personnel, coaching staff, etc. Allen said it perfectly himself when being interviewed about the Alex Smith trade. “You are judged by your record, and you are what your record is”.....well Bruce, if that’s the case you need to fire yourself.
You just gave me a reason to have kids.
My wife and I were not sure about this, I mean why would you add another human being in this messy, lost, sad and hopeless world ? But now, I know why. So one day my blood outlives Snyder's descendants and gets to see the Redskins win the SB. Thank you. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Williams is still the interim head coach of the browns and busy game planning for Sunday. He’s got to be the front runner for the job there... why the hell would he come back here? I can’t believe I’m saying this but Cleveland is a much more attractive job. Casserly is quite honestly too old. I love him but would not be excited about that move. I’m fearing Snyder’s going to bring Gibbs back for some figurehead move. Would it be out of the realm of possibility for Snyder to bring back shanahan? A Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All we need to do is hire a baseball exec. to run the football ops and we'll be set. |

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Gibbs is smart and would never come back here under any circumstances. Casserly either. The Redskins need positive PR badly. It's been a bad year for them on that end.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
I’d only rule out Gibbs due to his age, I don’t think he’s interested in the NFL grind anymore.
I wouldn’t rule out Casserly. I think Joey T tweeting about Riddick recently was a possible tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m tired of letting our young bright talent leave and succeed elsewhere, whether it’s a player (too many to count), coach (Sean Mcvay) or personnel guy. I’m hoping the reference is to someone who can be an addition to the staff here instead of being the reason our good guys leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Redskins organisation is as dysfunctional as it gets, but I have hope that a talented coach taking an in depth look at this roster would think "I can do better than this with these players". This is the feeling I have, that this roster is more talented (at least on the defensive side of the ball) than what the record says. A good coaching staff can do better than Gruden and Co with the same players. If I can see it why wouldn't Greg Williams see it? Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Folks, how is it that Bruce Allen will retain his job? There is no way in hell he deserves another minute of employment with the Skins....
How is this fuckin possible? I’m at a loss. What does it take for Snyder to get rid of him? |
