.....how do you think VH feels now? |

Probably not as bad as O'Hara considering he got traded to the Cardinals instead of cut. |

A little heavier in the pocket and a little lighter in terms of the clothes on his back. Honestly if I was nearing the end of my career and I was saving up for retirement I would want to go to Arizona too. Lower cost of living, warmer weather, newer facilities, and less media scrutiny. (Making the veteran minimum of $845,000 in Arizona is the same as making $1,174,922 in the DC metro area.) Washington isn't exactly ready to contend for a Super Bowl so while the chance to be part of the turn around is appealing it isn't really that great in terms of the big picture. Either way these days I now understand why my parents left DC for Atlanta. Why live in an old medium sized house in a town past its prime when you can live in a larger and newer house with great weather in one of Americas nicer suburbs. Don't get me wrong I love DC but better to be a big fish in a small pond then a medium sized fish in the ocean, or something like that. Loved Holiday though, few guys rush the passer as well as he does on a 3 man line. |

Andre Carter to the Pats

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Yep, Per Shef Andre Carter signed with the Pats. What is the world coming to?

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Hoody is really trying to bolster his pass rush. Not sure if he's going to get much with AH and Carter.

Expect even more 4 man fronts.. BB, hate him or not,.is always developing his "system" to the point that it's not even a system |

Pats are switching to 4-3, Darth Hoody will get something out of them. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
AC is a good 4-3 end, but he's a terrible 3-4 OLB... that's how he went from like 11 to 2.5 sacks in SF, then we bring him here, he gets 11 sacks, we move him to OLB, and uh... he's off the team.
that's just bad personnel planning. he's a straight up 4-3 pass rushing right end and not much else, though he's not terrible against the run. |

Outside of UDFA's? Yes. We resigned Jammal Brown and signed Sean Locklear a Right Tackle that came into the NFL as a Guard from NC State. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
Ricky Williams to the Ravens...
"Adam Schefter A new backup for Ray Rice. RT @ProFootballTalk: Ricky Williams' deal with the Ravens is for two years, and it's worth up to $4 million." |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
I'm kinda surprised Ravens chose to release McGahee and sign Ricky.. Both are similar runner, only McGahee is younger.
