Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018
If there is a game changing player at any position available at 13, I think you take him regardless of position.
If not, BPA weighted for need, but we have needs at every position. |

In the first round, I'd be mad if we drafted: a QB (obviously), an OL other than a guard, an ILB, and even a WR. LG, DT and RB, in that order, are our most urgent needs. I guess I'd be OK with an incredible all around run blocking and pass catching machine TE, but this is not what I'm hoping for. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

I think we'll be fine at CB and S as well. Beyond that, we won't know the positions where we have the most pressing needs for the draft until after free agency. Just as Paul Richardson changed the outlook at WR, If we sign Hankins he will change the outlook for the DL. |

Who is his back up? If there is a first round talent, BPA type player there at center or guard, I wouldn't mind the pick. I prefer DL but if the scouts say otherwise (character, work ethic, all the intangibles the ESPN draft guys don't account for) I'm fine with it. Same goes for ILB. Our ILBs at the end of the season were Spaight and Vigil. Many look at ILB as a rotational position, including our staff. I don't think we are set at that position group either. |
Didn't you just make the best argument that the depth on the d line isn't good enough, making it a need?
You know we have two edge guys under contract right now?
You don't draft depth in the first round. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk |

Foster is an average to below average NFL starter, he isn't special, his new contract reflects the reality. Brown is really good against the run, he is a liability in coverage. His contract reflects that he is above average, to good, not great. You cool with Vigil and Spaight starting 3 or 4 games next year? |

Phil Taylor was good when he was healthy, unfortunately, he did not stay healthy.... bring him to camp on a minimum contract, if he can pass a physical |

Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
You're thinking one dimensionally. A first round talent would start and one of the scrubs we started last year would back him up. Our front seven sucked, 1st round talent in our front seven, NO MATTER WHERE, would make a huge difference. |

I think the guy was ready to have a comeback year before getting injured. Hopefully he comes back healthy, hungry, and ready to prove to everyone he’s the pro bowler he should be. Has anyone heard anything on him? We could really use a healthy, hungry Taylor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm sure they will. What are the chances Phil Taylor is healthy this year, and is able to stay healthy? If he does, it would be the first time in his career. I think Taylor is a pipe dream, if he does anything, he would be a value signing. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This thinking by the front office that he was the answer at NT was completely fraudulent and, once again , poor logic. Get this guy in a skins uniform now Bruce: https://mobile.twitter.com/john_keim/status/975512042210844673 |
