Damn that's crazy! I had no idea Bryce was trying to be the next Bo Jackson. I started 8-2, now I'm about to be 8-4. My opponent got 100 points from Romo, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, and the Pats defense combined. Right now I'm losing by 45 and I only have Aaron Rodgers and Jonathan Stewart left. Not a good week for me, and I lost a gimme last week because I started 2 inactives due to me running late for work and not having time to set my lineup. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Dude, I hate that I love fantasy football so much. I have both Kendall Hunter and Frank Gore, but asshole Harbaugh decides to sling the ball all over the field with a rookie QB. Sure, he was impressive, but the Saints have one of the worst defenses in the league! WTF!!!

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
how big are these leagues where you're starting ronnie hillman?
Im in the top 3 in all my FF leagues except one...of course my money league. It will be the first time I finish out of the money in 4 seasons. I broke a couple rules because of my poor draft (8 out of 12) position when I drafted...first pick I took a player with an injury history: D MacFadden (blinded by his incredible preseason). Took Jermichael Finely at TE...ugh horrible. And bought into the Antonio Brown hype...
Finley is murdering me this year. What a terrible year for him. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
I got to 9 wins this past week, which guarrentees me a playoff spot in my league. I started the Packers Defense Sunday night and got a whopping -3 from those guys, but I was fortunate in that my opponent started James Jones, who got nata! I won by 6.
Kinda nice that I can take a breath for the next couple of weeks before the playoffs begin. There is no such thing as home field advanatage in fantasy football, so you just hope to get in and then get lucky for two weeks in a row.. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
going after these guys on the waiver wire, in this order:
Jacquizz Rodgers Ben Tate Bryce Brown Bernard Pierce Kendall Hunter David Wilson Justin Forsett set it up alternating dropping andre brown, then mendenhall. *dropping martellus bennett for bryce brown. so, i should end up w at least 2 of those guys. got the #2 seed all sewn up, planning for weeks 16 and 17. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
i'm glad my game this week has no bearing on my playoff situation, because my guys are busted up.

Brown is starting this week for Philly and with their season beyond lost already, I could see them just sitting McCoy the rest of the way so he doesn't die on the field and be out next year. I was able to get Brown on one of my 3 teams. I put a claim in immediately...got lucky once. I've had Rodgers for a few weeks...started him at flex this week. Of course, he did nothing when I finally use him. Kendall Hunter is on IR. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
same here on rodgers, i just picked him up, started him over mccoy (o) and forte (q), 4 pts.
i think tate will come in handy in weeks 16 and 17. i figured brown would be more useful this week, but i just have a feeling about tate in the final 2 games. yeah, i saw hunter go to ir the next day, i didn't know it was that serious. may end up adding pierce if the ravens win this week. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Darren Sproles combined got me 11 points last night. Not a good start coming off 2 consecutive losses. And I lost out on my Bryce Brown waiver claim, for being too low on the list.

I had Matt Ryan starting. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Luck balled out. 52 points. Whoever I'm playing against in the Warpath league benched him. Woot.
