I know it's way early and lots can happen but I think I'm gonna be pretty bummed if we don't trade up to get RGIII. The other guys-Tannehill, Foles, etc. are all just really flawed and don't scream 'franchise QB' rather scream 'drafting a QB again in 2015'.

Same here. Unless they see a HUGE red flag on RG3, I just can't see how MS doesn't do this. I am sure there won't be much information out there about this, b/c MS is very tight-lipped. |

Maybe Scouts Inc isn't always right but I can't imagine that if they're wrong that the amount of arm strength wouldn't fall too far from the elite category. Release/Arm Strength - 1 - Possesses a compact ¾ release. Flashes ability to change release point if necessary. Prototypical arm strength and can make all the necessary NFL throw as well as drive the ball down the field vertically. The real knock is the mental part of his game. Mental Makeup - 3 - "Comes from a majority spread offense although does take snaps from under center in pro-style sets. A one tempo quarterback that is very effective when pre-snap read is right and first option come available. Decision making becomes inconsistent when having to get to 2nd or 3rd option, though. Displays a good feel for game situations, however, poise is just average and shows some panic when protection breaks down. Lacks the necessary anticipation at this point and needs to see WR come open which can cause him to be late with throws. Flashes the toughness to sit in and make throw when knowing he's going to get hit. 1 = Exceptional 2 = Above Average 3 = Average 4 = Below Average 5 = Marginal |
Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........
Why because they're both small white QBs that don't have elite arm strength?
Moore and Colt are night and day based off their college days.
That is so insensitive. Moore is of British descent while McCoy is clearly Irish. I shall be reporting you to the hire ups for blatant racism and recommend you take sensitivity training :D But yeah besides that it's basically the gist. Keep in mind though there are people holding out hope that McCoy's career is following the same trajectory of a certain storied QB that goes by the name of Drew Brees (who is Dutch, thank you very much). |

Cutler has that rare part to his game that we saw with Favre where he'll just sling the ball effortlessly, Foles can't compete with that. |

Based on what I've heard Cutlers arm is the elite of the elite. Knocking down any QB for not being as strong arm strength wise is like comparing a pitcher with a 103 mph fastball to one that regularly can throw up to a 100 mph and discounting the latter. |

exactly. LSU's qbs are garbage this year and will not be successful nfl players imo. |

Umm read NFL scouts analysis on him, the majority say he has a strong arm. There definitely isn't scouts that say he has a weak arm. |

Doesn't mean his arm strength isn't good enough or he won't succeed. |
